Maryland Christmas Show Application
About the application
The Maryland Christmas show accepts exhibitors in Clothing, Textiles, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting and Prints, Photography, Pottery and Clay, Printmaking, Wood, Apothecary, Specialty Food and Beverage. There are exceptions to these categories made if it is to benefit the show overall. Pictures of exhibitor's work must be the work presented at the show. Food and beverage that is not mass produced must be packaged for offsite consumption.
Artist amentities include 20 comp tickets to use for their customers to visit their exhibit at the show. Promotional postcards, printed artist directory, discounted hotel rates and free parking.
Booths must be professional and asthetically pleasing. The show provides pipe and drape and signage. Tent tops/ceiling type coverings are not permitted to be used. You may use your own structure without the top. Artists must have a person present in their booth at all times. There should be no tear down before the show is over each day.

Artist must be present at their booth during all open hours.
Booth space may not be sublet in full or in part without written permission from the Maryland Christmas Show, LLC.
Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and reporting applicable sale tax to the State of Maryland.
Exhibitors may only sell what they have been approved to exhibit on their original application. Selling other products or passing out information to order other products is prohibited with written permission from the Maryland Christmas Show, LLC.
Any artist leaving prior to the end of the show will not be invited to participate in future shows.
All Exhibitors are required to carry liability insurance naming the Maryland Christmas Show, LLC and The Frederick Fair Grounds as additional insured. It is also advised, but not required, that each exhibitor carry insurance to cover their inventory against damage and loss. All buildings are locked when the show is closed and there is 24 hours security on the Fair Grounds every night, but the Maryland Christmas Show, LLC nor the Frederick Fair Grounds are responsible for any liability that may occur.
Maryland Christmas Show, LLC reserves the right to terminate the agreement with any Exhibitor should the Exhibitor fail to pay booth rental 90 days prior to the show opening or if the Exhibitor fails to perform any material term or condition of the agreement, or refuses to abide by the show's rules and regulations. In the event of default by an exhititor, the exhibitor shall foreit the amount due by him/her for their space rental, regarless of whether the Maryland Christmas Show, LLC enters into a further lease of the space involved.
Whevever possible booth assigments will be made by the Maryland Christmas Show, LLC in keeping with the requests of the exhibitor. However, final determination of space assignment is reserved by the Maryland Christmas Show, LLC show management. Assignments will be made or changed in the overall best interest of the exposition.
Maryland Christmas Show, LLC nor it's employees, official show contrators, owners, Frederick Fair Grounds, its's employees, managers or owners will be responsible for injury or loss or damage that may occur to the exhibitor or the echibitor's employes or property from any cause whatsover, prior, during or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibit space agreement. It is agreed that each exhibitor shall assume the risk of injury, loss or damage, and the exhibitor, by signing this agreement hereby assumes such risks and expressly releases the organizations and indivudlas refereed to above from any and all claims for such loss, damage or injury. Futhermore, the Maryland Christmas Show, LLC accepts no liability for Exhibitors product perormance or afety or injuries caused by these items written or implied.
Each exhibitor is charged with compliance with local laws and ordinances, as they apply to fire, health, safety of others. If exhibitors have any questions regarding possible infrigements or violations, it is recommended they contact the Show Management for claification. In order to be compliant with the local Fire Marshall our booth sizes are 8'x10' rather than 10'x10' as they are at many shows, in order to have ample isle space should there be a evacuation. Please do not expand your space outside the 8' depth allowed or place signage in the isles.
Show Management reserves the right to make changes, amendments and additions to these Terms as it considers necessary for the overall good of the exposition. Any matters no specifically covered herein are subject to the decsion by Show Management.
