Thank you for your interest in vending at the 43rd Annual Troy Victorian Stroll! Browse through our application and let us know if you have any questions. This is an electronic agreement and by selecting a tent, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

About the event

For 42 years, the Troy Victorian Stroll has been a community holiday tradition that transforms the streets of historic downtown Troy into a bygone Victorian era, complete with visitors in Victorian dress strolling the City. The Victorian Stroll has brought residents and tourists alike together to enjoy our beautiful City of Troy - its past, present and future. The Stroll’s activities and entertainment are strategically spread throughout the streets, amidst unique shops, storefronts, restaurants, bars and parks. The events’ footprint is South to Congress Street, East to 6th Ave, West to River Street, and North to Hutton Street. There is something of interest for people of all ages at this one-day. Held each year 10 days after Thanksgiving, we hope you will join us to shop, dine and Stroll Troy! ​

Terms & Conditions

Food Tent Vendor Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all food tent vendor applicants participating in the Troy Victorian Stroll (“the Event”). Submission of an application constitutes acceptance of these terms.

 

1. Event Overview
The Troy Victorian Stroll is a community event organized by the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Participation is limited to approved vendors who have completed the application process and submitted all required fees, permits, and documentation.
2. Application & Fees
Applications must be submitted by the stated deadline to be considered.
Payment of vendor fees must be made in full upon acceptance. Vendor fees are non-refundable, except in the case of event cancellation by the organizers.
Incomplete applications or failure to provide requested documentation (permits, insurance, menu, etc.) may result in disqualification.
3. Permits & Compliance
Vendors are required to comply with all state, county, and local health and safety regulations.
A valid food service permit from the Rensselaer County Department of Health must be displayed during the Event.
Vendors must provide a certificate of insurance naming the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce as an additional insured.
4. Setup & Breakdown
Vendors must arrive at their designated location during the assigned setup window. Late arrivals may forfeit participation without refund.
Vehicles must remain within the designated footprint and not obstruct pedestrian or emergency access routes.
Vendors may not break down or depart prior to the official end of the Event without approval from organizers.
5. Operations
Vendors are responsible for providing all necessary equipment, including power, water, and grease disposal, unless otherwise arranged.
Generators must be quiet and properly ventilated to avoid disruption or hazards -No two cycle generators wll be allowed.
Food preparation and service areas must remain clean and sanitary throughout the Event.
Vendors are responsible for the removal of all trash, grease, and debris from their assigned space. Failure to comply may result in fines and exclusion from future events.
6. Sales & Restrictions
Only the food and beverage items listed on the approved application may be sold. Any changes must receive prior approval.
Alcohol sales are strictly prohibited unless explicitly permitted in writing by the organizers.
Vendors may not sublet, share, or transfer their space without prior approval.
7. Liability & Indemnification
Vendors participate at their own risk. The Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, theft, injury, or other claims arising from participation.
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce from any claims, damages, or expenses related to their participation.
8. Weather & Event Changes
The Event is a rain, snow, sleet, or-shine event. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather unless a state of emergency is declared by local, county, or state officials.
Organizers reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or relocate the Event for safety or operational reasons.
9. Code of Conduct
Vendors and their staff must conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.
10. Acceptance
By submitting an application and participating in the Troy Victorian Stroll, vendors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
