Food Truck Vendor Application Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in participating as a Food Truck Vendor at Jingle Paws Market, taking place on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 12:00pm–4:00pm at Fred Fletcher Park. Please review the information below before submitting your application.

Accepted Categories

  • Food Trucks – serving freshly prepared meals, snacks, desserts, or beverages.

  • At this venue we do not allow food to be cooked under a tent.
  • If you are serving packaged food like baked goods, candy, popcorn, bottled drinks, etc, and you serve under a tent, please apply through our artist/vendor application.
  • If you serve coffee, tea, lemonade, ice cream, snow cones, or similar and serve under a tent, please apply through our Artist/Vendor application.
  • Menu items that align with the event theme are encouraged and will be given priority, though all cuisines will be considered.

  • If your dishes do not fit the theme, please consider a featured dish that better aligns your offerings with the market theme.
  • There is limited space for food trucks at this venue and we will be accepting a max of 4 trucks.

Event Protocol

  • This is a curated market. Selection is based on food quality, theme relevance, and variety. To provide the best guest experience, we limit the number of trucks offering the same type of cuisine.

  • All trucks must comply with Wake County Health Department regulations and have all required permits and inspections.

  • Trucks must be self-contained (generator or battery power only; no access to park electricity or water).

  • Food trucks are responsible for managing their own staffing, food safety, and cleanup.

  • Excessively loud generators are not allowed. Before applying, please make sure your generator is rated as "quiet/silent".

Requirements

All accepted food trucks must provide/verify the following documentation prior to the event:

  • Proof of liability insurance naming the event organizer as additional insured

  • Current Wake County Health Department permit if applicable

  • Copy of most recent health inspection report

  • Onboard fire extinguisher (required)

  • Registration with Raleigh Parks & Recreation as an approved food vendor — or willingness to register prior to the event.

    • Registration is free, quick, and easy.

    • Once registered, your truck will also be added to the Raleigh Parks vendor list, which opens opportunities for future events hosted in city parks.

    • Learn more and register here: Raleigh Parks Food Truck Vendor Registration

Application Process

  • Applications are approved on a rolling basis until all spaces are full.

  • Vendors can expect to hear back within two weeks of submitting their application.

  • Food truck vendors will be charged upon approval. Please do not apply unless you are prepared to be charged.

  • Vendor fees are non-refundable.

Parking, Setup & Breakdown

  • Food truck check-in and setup begins at 10:45am. All trucks must be fully set up and ready to serve by 12:00pm.

  • Designated food truck parking areas along Washington Street will be assigned in advance. Event staff will direct you upon arrival.

  • Please stop taking orders at 4:00pm and have your window closed no later than 4:15pm. All trucks must exit the venue no later than 5:15pm.

  • Food trucks are expected to remain for the entire event duration. Early departure may impact acceptance to future events.

  • Vendors are responsible for leaving their area clean and free of debris, grease, or trash.
