About the application
Thank you for your interest in providing entertainment during Musselfest 2026. From the Friday evening Mussel Mingle, to the Blue Zone, to performances on Front Street, lively entertainment is a fun, integral part of Musselfest!
Please note that we have two areas where entertainment will be stationed throughout the festival:
- The Blue Zone: This is a tented area where all participants and attendees must be 21+. No exceptions.
- Front Street: Entertainment spot for all ages attending Musselfest. Area will have a 10'x20' tent and sound system, weather dependent.
Please fill out this application in it's entirety and carefully review the Terms and Conditions for your participation in providing entertainment for Musselfest 2026.
The application deadline is Friday, November 21, 2025. All applicants will be notified by Friday, December 12, 2025.

Musselfest 2026 Terms & Conditions: Entertainment
Dates: March 7 - 8, 2026

1. Application & Acceptance
- All musical acts (referred to as "group", "musical acts" or "acts" from hereon out) must submit a completed application by Friday, November 21, 2025
- Submission does not guarantee selection. Acts will be notified of acceptance by Friday, December 12, 2025.
2. Performance Requirements
- Each group must perform during their assigned time slot and arrive at least 30 minutes before their set for check-in and set-up. Organizer and talent will confirm timing should talent have a more extensive set-up.
- Performance duration and time slot will be assigned by the organizer and must be strictly adhered to.
- All acts must perform family-friendly content suitable for an all-ages show, especially for those groups assigned to Front Street.
3. Sound & Equipment
- A professional sound system and audio engineer will be provided by the festival for those groups performing in the 21+ "Blue Zone" and on Front Street (Front Street system will be weather permitting).
- Any specific technical requirements must be submitted with the application so that organizer has the full picture of groups sound needs.
4. Fees & Compensation
- Time slots for most performances run about 1.5 hours. Given this parameter, when submitting your application, please indicate your booking fee.
- All musical acts will be paid upon arrival at Musselfest.
- No additional compensation, travel reimbursement, or lodging is provided unless explicitly agreed upon.
5. Cancellations & Changes
- If group must cancel, they will notify the organizer at least 7 days in advance. Any cancellation by group will forfeit performance fee.
- Musselfest 2026 is rain or shine unless weather conditions pose safety risks.
- Musselfest reserves the right to reschedule modify, or cancel performances due to weather, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- If a cancellation is made due to anticipated weather, a decision will be made by organizer 7 days prior to performance and group will forfeit performance fee. If a decision is made by organizer to cancel due to anticipated weather equal to or less than 6 days prior to performance, group will retain 50% of the performance fee which will be mailed to group at the address provided in application.
- Organizer will work diligently to keep all performances as scheduled.
6. Conduct & Liability
- Group is expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
- Any use of offensive language, hate speech, or disorderly behavior is grounds for removal and forfeiture of performance fee.
- The organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
- Groups are liable for any damage caused to the stage, equipment, or venue due to negligence.
7. Promotion & Media
- By applying, musical acts grant Musselfest 2026 permission to use their name, images, recordings, and promotional materials for marketing purposes.
- Musical acts may also promote their appearance using official festival branding with approval by organizer.
8. Insurance & Permits
- Musselfest 2026 carries general event insurance.
- Groups are responsible for their own equipment insurance and any required performance licenses (e.g., for cover songs, if applicable).
9. Agreement
- By applying for perform at Musselfest 2026, group acknowledges and agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
