The Chocolate Expo 2026 Mohegan Sun features tastings & sales of chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, ready-to-eat foods, cheeses and more.

CBD products are not allowed at our events, as per our insurance carrier.

 

At this time, wines, spirits, meads, ciders and other alcoholic beverages are not allow for this event for tastings and sales by the bottle, as per Mohegan Sun policy. Mohegan Sun will be the only one offering alcoholic beverages at this Chocolate Expo location. If you are potentially interested in offering tastings only, please contact Larry Rosenberg at 201-724-0303, to discuss this opportunity further.

 

Non-alcoholic beverages such as unique sodas, non-hard seltzers, non-hard ciders and mocktails are welcome to apply for this event.

 

A limited number of vendor booths will also be available for makers of unique handmade jewelry, artwork, photography, pottery, dishware, cutlery, cookware, kitchen accessories, cutting boards, wine displays, etc. Food and beverage-related crafts will be given priority. All artisan products will be subject to approval by a judging committee.

 

The standard single vendor booth size at this event is 10x10 with pipe-and-drape. Electrical service must be ordered separately directly from Demers, Mohegan Sun's expo services & logistics provider. 

 

Vendors can provide their own tables and attractive table coverings or can rent skirted tables with this application.

 

Food trucks/trailers are allowed indoors and outdoors at this event. Standard truck/trailer fees are provided in this vendor application, and any extra costs for logistics (such as moving the truck/trailer indoors) must be arranged separate and paid directly to Demers. 

 

If your food truck/trailer (with or without any trailer hitches attached) is oversized, additional fees may apply. If you have a food truck/trailer, please contact Larry Rosenberg at 201-724-0303, BEFORE submitting your application, to review your specific requirements.

Terms & Conditions

Baum Image Group, Inc., reserves the right to reject any vendor for any reason including, but not limited to, avoiding excessive product duplication and providing the best product mix for our guests. VENDORS MUST BE VERY SPECIFIC ABOUT WHAT THEY PLAN TO OFFER AT THE CHOCOLATE EXPO. Products not specified on your application are subject to potential removal at the festival, if they are duplicative of other vendors in a limited category or not allowed (CBD, cigarettes, etc.).

 

IF SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE, YOU AGREE TO:

 

1) PROVIDE GUESTS WITH SAMPLES (FOOD/BEVERAGE VENDORS ONLY) -- THIS IS A CRITICAL COMPONENT OF OUR EVENT AND THERE WILL BE VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY. ANY EXCEPTIONS (DUE TO SPECIFIC TECHNICAL ISSUES) REQUIRE PRIOR APPROVAL BY BAUM IMAGE GROUP, INC.

 

2) IN THE EVENT THAT YOU RUN OUT OF PRODUCT TO SELL, YOU AGREE TO NOT BREAK DOWN YOUR BOOTH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND TO CONTINUE SAMPLING (FOODS/BEVERAGES) AND GREETING GUESTS UNTIL THE END OF THE EVENT. BE SURE TO BRING BUSINESS CARDS!

 

3) BOOTHS ARE REQUIRED TO LOOK VERY NICE AND BE KEPT CLEAN AND WELL-ORGANIZED THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.

 

4) BRING YOUR OWN TABLES (UNLESS RENTED VIA THIS APPLICATION) AND COVER THEM WITH YOUR OWN ATTRACTIVE TABLECLOTHS. TABLES MUST BE FULLY COVERED TO THE FLOOR ON A MINIMUM OF THREE SIDES.

 

5) ARRANGE YOUR OWN ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS DIRECTLY WITH MOHEGAN SUN'S OWN EXCLUSIVE EXPO SERVICES COMPANY, DEMERS EXPO SERVICES, USING THE FORM PROVIDED IN THE DOCUMENTS/INSTRUCTIONS SECTION OF THIS APPLICATION.

 

By participating in this event, you agree to our General Photo Release that allows photographs and videos of you, your staff, your booth and your products to be used by Baum Image Group, Inc., in documenting and promoting The Chocolate Expo now and at any time in the future.

 

Vendor booth fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

BOOTH FEE (10x10) $850.00 Non-refundable
INDOOR FOOD TRUCK OR TRAILER BOOTH SPACE UP TO 10' WIDE X 20' LONG (including any hitches) $1,700.00 Non-refundable This is an indoor food truck or trailer space (including hitches) of up to 10' wide x 20' long. The truck/trailer fee DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY FEES FROM DEMERS (Mohegan Sun's logistics provider) for moving your truck/trailer indoors, nor any fees for electricity (also paid directly to Demers). Additional booths to accommodate oversized trucks/trailers must be paid for at time of registration. For oversized trucks/trailers, please contact Associate Producer Larry Rosenberg at (201) 724-0303 to discuss your specific requirements. Any oversized trucks or trailers not properly planned for will be moved elsewhere indoors or outdoors, if possible, and charged any oversized booth fees plus additional handling fees. If we can't accommodate your oversized truck/trailer due to your not planning the size correctly for the space, we unfortunately will not be able to refund any truck/trailer fees paid. Please note that NO FRYING OR FLAMES ARE ALLOWED INDOORS. ALSO, NO FUEL-BASED GENERATORS WILL BE ALLOWED INDOORS. All food trucks must have less than a 1/3 tank of gas and the battery MUST BE DISCONNECTED AT ALL TIMES.
OUTDOOR FOOD TRUCK OR TRAILER SPACE UP TO 10' WIDE X 30' LONG (including any hitches) $2,000.00 Non-refundable This is an OUTDOORS food truck or trailer space outdoors of up to 10' wide X 30' long with hitches included. If your truck or trailer is oversized or otherwise "unique" in its requirements, please contact Associate Producer Larry Rosenberg at (201) 724-0303 to determine any additional potential fees that may be required in order for us to properly accommodate your needs. Any oversized vehicles that exceed the maximum size may require repositioning and additional fees beyond any added fee for an oversize truck or trailer.

  • Please let us know what products you plan to sample.
  • Please acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to all health & safety requirements of The Chocolate Expo as follows: 1) Vendors with readily perishable products must maintain safe temperatures at all times. You must have adequate equipment to maintain safe food temperatures. An accurate metal stem probe thermometer must be used by those vendors who need to ensure that hot foods are maintained hot (above 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and cold foods are kept cold (below 45 degrees Fahrenheit). 2) Ready-to-eat foods and product samples must be handled by food workers wearing disposable gloves. Tongs or spatulas are acceptable alternatives to gloves, when appropriate. 3) All food must be protected from dust, sneeze exposure, hair and handling by customers at all times. Plastic wrap, tempered glass or Plexiglas coverings should be used, if appropriate, and/or products should be kept at an adequate distance to prevent such exposure. Hats and beard nets should be used, as needed.
  • BACKGROUND CHECK: For guest comfort and safety at this family-friendly event, we conduct background checks on all vendor participants. Do you agree to a backgroup check?

  • PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: What products and/or services do you want to offer at The Chocolate Expo? Please be specific as possible so that we can prevent excessive product duplication. For instance, if you're a bakery... we want to know if you plan to sell donuts, cake pops, whoopie pies, breads, brownies, etc., because it doesn't make sense to have five or six vendors all selling the same specific items like brownies. Any products not included on your list may be subject to exclusion from the event.
  • FOOD OR NON-FOOD VENDOR?: Are you handling food products at The Chocolate Expo?
  • FORM OF KITCHEN LICENSE: If you're selling food and/or beverage items, are your products produced in a licensed facility? If you're not offering food or beverage products, please select N/A.
  • SAMPLING: Do you plan to offer tastings/samples of your food/beverage products at The Chocolate Expo?
  • KITCHEN LICENSE REQUIRED: Please upload a copy of your kitchen license here.
  • FOOD CERTIFICATIONS: If you are selling food and/or beverage products, please list any certifications that consumers may want to know about such as sugar-free, keto, organic, kosher, vegan and/or gluten-free. Be sure to include the name of the certifying agency.
  • TABLES FOR BOOTH: Please acknowledge that you are responsible to bring your own tables (if not rented from us) AND tablecloths/coverings to The Chocolate Expo.
  • ELECTRICAL SERVICES: Will you need electrical service at your booth?
  • OPERATIONAL AGREEMENT: You agree to have your booth staffed throughout the entire Expo and continue sampling, even if you've run out of product to sell.
  • INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS/COI UPLOAD: Please upload a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming Baum Image Group, Inc., and Mohegan Sun as "additional insured." The Certificate Holder should be listed as: Baum Image Group, Inc., 10 Lombardi Drive, New City, NY 10956. Submitting a COI does not guarantee approval.
  • The Mohegan Tribal Health Department does not allow producers with cottage licenses to participate in events. Alternatives are potentially available. Please call Larry Rosenberg at 201-724-0303 for options.
  • UPLOAD A COPY OF THE MOHEGAN SUN HEALTH DEPARTMENT FORM HERE. (available in documents/instructions in this application). There is no charge for the Temp Permit at this location.
  • Please acknowledge that you will need to fill out and submit your own request for electric service DIRECTLY through Demers Events & Expo Services using the form provided with this Vendor Application in the documents/instructions section.
