Schererville Parksβ Holiday Craft Show is the longest-running and largest craft show in the departmentβs history. What began over a decade ago with fewer than 30 vendors and crafters has grown into a two-day event attracting 8,000+ attendees and featuring 200+ crafters and vendors. For the past two years, the event has expanded to two indoor locations: the Schererville Community Center and Homan School, providing a more comfortable experience for vendors and shoppers alike.Β

As the flagship event for Schererville Parksβ craft shows, the Holiday Craft Show is a must-attend for vendors, offering the opportunity to showcase unique and creative products to thousands of holiday shoppers.

Event Dates & Times:
- Saturday, Nov 8th: 9am-5pm
- Sunday, Nov 9th: 9am-3pm

Event Locations:
- Schererville Community Center (500 E. Joliet St.)
- Homan School (210 E. Joliet St.) β Located just 2700 feet from the Community Center
Vendor Fees:
- Each application includes a 10βx10β space for one day only. Chairs, tables, and electricity are not provided. Larger spaces are available for an additional fee.
- No food or beverage sales are permitted without prior approval from the Recreation Coordinator. Proof of health permits and insurance will be required for approved food vendors.

Set-Up/Take-Down:
- Saturday: 5am-8am set-up on November 8th.
Rules & Regulations:
1. No live animals are permitted in the buildings.
2. Direct sales businesses are limited to **one vendor per company**, based on first-come, first-served.
3. No weapons, vulgar merchandise, or inappropriate items are permitted.
4. Tables must have floor-length coverings, and vendors are responsible for keeping their assigned areas clean.
5. Vendors must participate for the full duration of the event.

Important Policies:
- Early teardown or late arrival will not be tolerated and may result in removal from future shows.
- All vendors must donate a physical item (no coupons/gift cards) for our free raffle, which draws in customers and is held after the event.
- Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax.

Registration Process:
- Applications are subject to review and approval by Schererville Parks. Items must meet our quality standards, and not all applications may be accepted. Photos of products and displays are required.
- Outdoor spaces are available at the Community Center only. Overnight police security will be provided for outside vendors.

- I understand that if I use a tent that 25 lbs weights AND stakes are REQUIRED, PER LEG! I will be PROHIBITED from utilizing my tent if I do not have those.
- I understand that if I have a special requests are NOT guaranteed but are only a request
- I understand that I'm required to bring a raffle item upon checking in and that I will not be given a booth number until raffle items has been given to Parks Staff.
- I understand that if I have items that can be CONSUMED (Food) that I will provide a Certificate of Insurance
- I understand that I am required to participate for the full length of the event (9am-5pm Saturday and 9am-3pm Sunday)
- I understand that setup time is from 5am-8am ONLY on the day OF the event, Saturday, November 8th. I will not be able to check in after 7:30am
- I understand the rules and agree to abide by them. I understand that failure to abide by these rules risk me forfeiting any monies paid on this event and any other future events.
- I understand and will abide by the THE BIG No Nos. If unable, then I will be removed from the current and future show(s) and all monies lost
- I know to park at Redar Park and if found parking onsite, I will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY and banned from current show, future show and all monies paid will be lost.
- I understand that Schererville Parks reserves the right to cancel the show due to insufficient registration or a situation where it's deemed unsafe for the event to occur
- I understand there are NO REFUNDS for this event.
- I have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the event through the Waiver & Release of all claims. I am applying to participate as a crafter/vendor. I will follow the rules and regulations and if I do not adhere to all regulations or if I misrepresent myself, or the item I am selling, I will be asked to leave with no refund.

- Minimum pictures required: 10
