About the event

The National Night Out™ program promotes neighborhood alliances to strengthen our communities and preserve the quality of life in East Texas. Through National Night Out™, we can strengthen our communities by helping to educate our families, friends and neighbors on crime prevention. The National Night Out™ program helps local governmental agencies inform residents that communities are safer when neighbors work together. Getting to know your neighbors is an important step in guaranteeing safety in your communities, so Gun Barrel City will host a Centralized Event this year at the Pavilion. Everyone is invited to attend and we are encouraging our POA's to host booths so neighbors are meeting neighbors.

Terms & Conditions

Community Partner Responsibilities

All participants must be self-contained and responsible for their own setup, including tables, chairs, tents, signage, handouts, and displays.
Limited access to power is available under the Pavilion, but is not guaranteed. If power is needed, partners must request it in advance. Extension cords and power strips will not be provided.
Quiet generators are allowed if additional power is needed beyond what GBC can supply.
Participants are responsible for setting up and tearing down their own space and must staff their booth during all posted event hours.
No vehicles are allowed inside the event area during event hours.
All participants must remain in place until the event concludes.
All City of Gun Barrel City ordinances must be followed.

Important Restrictions

Community Partner booths are for outreach, education, services, and giveaways.
National Night Out branding may not be used on any materials, merchandise, or giveaways without express written permission from Gun Barrel City and the National Association of Town Watch (NATW).
