About the application
Welcome to the event! Browse through our applications and let us know if you have any questions. This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
There is a nonrefundable $25 application fee. If approved, an additional $300 fee will apply. A discount is available for brick & mortar food businesses located within Somerville's Special Improvement District. Contact DSA for details.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
Electricity and fuel are the exhibitor's responsibility. There are no on-site electrical hookups available.
You will need to apply for a Temporary Food Establishment Permit (https://www.somersetcountynj.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/36872/638461089286470000) before the event. For "location", indicate "Jazz Fest, Grove Street, Somerville NJ". This requires a separate $50 fee (estimated). There will be a health department inspection on the day of the event. You can reach the Somerset County Health Department with any questions at (908) 231-7155.
You will also need to apply for a Type 1 Fire Safety Permit (https://somervillenj.forms.govos.com/f/FNO0Gw) before the event. For "location", indicate "Jazz Fest, Grove Street, Somerville NJ". This requires a separate $42 fee (estimated). There will be a fire department inspection on the day of the event. You can reach the Fire Marshall with any questions at (908-725-7301 extension 7430).
Failure to pass either inspection will prevent you from attending the event, and you will forfeit all fees paid (no refunds for failing inspections).
Application decisions will be completed and announced no later than Thursday 14 August.
After your application is approved, you will need to upload a certificate of insurance. You won't be able to exhibit at the event without completing this step.
Once your application is approved, there are no refunds unless the event is cancelled by Downtown Somerville Alliance for inclement weather.
