Vendors can set up between 7AM to 9AM. We ask that they are ready to serve food by 09:30 AM for people that come early and so that our volunteers have an opportunity to buy food before the crowds. Vendors will receive their location assignment at check-in. Vendors whose products generate waste must provide trash containers for customer use. Vendors are responsible for set-up and clean up. Breakdown will begin at 6PM. Vendors must remain on site for the duration of the festival.
Vendors must supply their own equipment (examples: tent, chairs, tables, etc.). No electricity will be provided, please plan accordingly. ALL TENTS MUST BE WEIGHED DOWN - this is the responsibility of the vendor. Any tent that is not properly weighed down one hour prior to festivities beginning will be asked to resolve the issue before being able to participate in the festival; otherwise, you will be forced to take down your tent for the duration of the festival. This is a SAFETY issue. You may not tie your tent to another vendor.
The festival will be held rain or shine – no rain date will be scheduled, and no refunds will be given.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The application deadline is August 31, 2025.
Food Vendor fee is $150 for a 10'x10' single food vendor space. Space is limited and your application will be reviewed based on the food you are planning to sell. We will let you know if your application has been accepted or if we have any follow-up questions. Please do not send in a payment before we notify you.
Payment for vendor space will be due upon approval of application.
FOOD PERMIT AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENT
The Festival Cultural Latino has applied for an Event Organizer Application with the Duplin County Health Department. This will allow food vendors to participate under our application. However as a food vendor you will still need to submit a Temporary Food Establishment (TFE) Application or an Exempt TFE Application, whichever applies to you. If you already have a required permit, you will not need to pay any additional fees. If your permit is from a different county then you must provide a copy of your permit and your most recent inspection with your TFE Application.

Los vendedores pueden instalarse entre las 7:00 a. m. y las 9:00 a. m. El festival se llevará a cabo con lluvia o con sol; no se programará ninguna fecha en caso de lluvia y no se otorgarán reembolsos.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SOLICITUD
La fecha límite para la inscripción es el 31 de agosto del 2024.
La tarifa para vendedores de alimentos es de $150 por un espacio individual de 10’ x 10’ pies. El cupo es limitado y su solicitud se evaluará según el tipo de alimento que planee vender. Le informaremos si su solicitud ha sido aceptada o si tenemos alguna pregunta adicional. Por favor, no realice ningún pago antes de que le notifiquemos.
El pago del espacio del vendedor deberá realizarse una vez aprobada la solicitud.
PERMISO DE COMIDA Y REQUISITO DE SEGURO
El Festival Cultural Latino ha aplicado por una Solicitud de Organizador de Eventos ante el Departamento de Salud del Condado de Duplin. Esto permitirá que los vendedores de comida participen bajo nuestra solicitud.
Sin embargo, como vendedor de comida, aún deberá presentar una Solicitud de establecimiento temporal de alimentos (TFE) o una Solicitud de TFE exenta, lo que corresponda en su caso. Si ya tiene el permiso requerido, no necesitará pagar pago adicional. Si su permiso es de un condado diferente, debe proporcionar una copia de su permiso y su inspección más reciente con su solicitud TFE.
