DCAF 2026 Mobile Food and Beverage Vendor Application
About the application
The Druid City Arts Festival is back for its 17th year! The two day event will be held at Government Plaza on Friday, April 10th from 5pm-9pm and Saturday, April 11th from 10am-5pm. A limited number of spaces will be available for food trucks on Gary Fitts Street (6th St) on both Friday night and Saturday. All food vendors will be required to have an active mobile food vending license or a City of Tuscaloosa franchise license. Vendor Fee: All food vendors are subject to a vendor fee of $75 (single day) or $150 (weekend). Payment will be due upon approval via the credit card you put on file. Application Deadline: Friday, February 13, 2026 11:59 p.m.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
The following guidelines apply to mobile food and beverage vendors this season:
All mobile food vendors are required to have an active mobile food vending license or a City of Tuscaloosa franchise license on file, as well as approval from the Tuscaloosa County Health Department.
All food trucks will need to line up at the corner of 23rd Ave and Gary Fitts St (6th St) no earlier than 5 minutes before load-in time. If you are parked, in the roadway before the line up time, you will be subject to everyday traffic laws. Each truck will load in, single file, on Gary Fitts St in the order in which you are directed by the Special Events staff, one at a time.
Mobile food and beverage vendors selling under a tent will be given a designated space and separate load-in instructions once approved.
Any truck/trailer combination will need to park as directed, unhook the trailer, and relocate the hauling truck to a public parking area nearby immediately.
There will be no special placements or reservations.
May not pull onto the sidewalk or the Government Plaza area.
Load in will begin at 4:00PM on Friday and at 9:00AM on Saturday. You must be set up and ready by 5:00PM on Friday and 10:00AM on Saturday.
Must stay for the duration of the event’s hours. No vendor will be permitted to leave until after the event ends and the road is cleared, please do not leave until we instruct you to do so for the safety of citizens.
Access to power is not guaranteed and is extremely limited, please bring a generator if you need power.
Vendors are responsible for taking their own garbage with them. No bags of garbage may be left curbside on Gary Fitts St.
The event is rain or shine. However, in the event of complete cancellation due to severe weather, you will be contacted immediately.
