Food Vendor Application – 5th Annual Spring in the Park

Location: Baird Park, Sawmills, NC
We are now accepting food vendor applications for the 5th Annual Spring in the Park, a highly anticipated community event that attracts hundreds of families and visitors each year. This outdoor festival features a wide variety of vendors, live music, kids' activities, and more—all in a fun, family-friendly environment.
Food vendor spaces are available to food trucks, trailers, and tent-based setups serving freshly prepared meals, snacks, desserts, and beverages. All food vendors must have current health department permits and comply with all local and state food service regulations.
Important Information:
No electricity, water hookup, or Wi-Fi will be provided.
Vendors must be completely self-contained.
Spaces are limited and will be confirmed after application approval.
Once approved, vendors will be able to select their space.
Tent weights are required for all tent-based setups.
Food trucks must list the full length of their setup, including tongue/hitch, and note if they serve from the driver or passenger side.

Terms and Conditions – 5th Annual Spring in the Park (Food Vendors)

By submitting a food vendor application, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
General PoliciesAll events are rain or shine. There are no weather-related refunds.
Tent weights are required for all canopy setups. Vendors without proper tent weights may not be allowed to set up.
No electricity, water hookup, or Wi-Fi will be provided. Food vendors must be fully self-contained.
Vendors are responsible for bringing all items needed for setup, including tents, tables, equipment, and supplies.
Vendors must have all current health department permits and comply with all local and state food service regulations.
In The Park Events LLC and associated parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
Accepted vendors will receive detailed instructions regarding event rules, setup, parking, and load-in/out procedures.
We reserve the right to remove any vendor, without refund, who:
Fails to follow event rules or instructions from staff
Violates local, state, or federal laws
Displays inappropriate or unsafe behavior
Misrepresents their products or services
Full payment is required at the time of application, unless a scheduled payment is requested and approved.
Scheduled payments must be requested with a payment date within 30 days of application submission.
If the event is 60 days or less away, full payment is required upfront—no scheduled payments allowed.
If a scheduled payment fails, vendors have 48 hours to respond and request a retry. Failure to respond will result in application cancellation and forfeiture of any administrative fees.
If a food vendor cancels more than 45 days before the event and the spot can be filled, a refund of the booth fee minus a $50 cancellation fee per space will be issued.
If the spot cannot be filled, no refund will be given.
Cancellations within 45 days of the event are non-refundable.
If cancellation occurs before a scheduled payment is processed, a $50 cancellation fee per space applies.
Application fees, administrative fees, and booth location fees are non-refundable.
Booth fees are non-transferable to other events.
Failure to attend the event without prior notice will result in a ban from future events. Vendors who notify us in advance will be worked with on a case-by-case basis.

- By signing below, I understand there is no water or power hookup provided. I am also responsible for my own trash. If any trash is left behind, In The Park Events has the right to charge a $50 trash fee to the debit/credit card on file.
