Roving Interactive Entertainment (Themed Characters)

We’re seeking lively, themed characters who will roam the event grounds, engaging with guests, offering photo opportunities, and hosting pop-up interactions.

1. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
2. The use of alcohol and or drugs by any vendor and or their staff is strictly prohibited while working Pirate Fest. Vendors and their staff are not permitted to consume, possess, or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while performing their duties at Pirate Fest. This includes but is not limited to drinking or being under the influence during setup, performance, tear down or any time spent directly engaging with the public or any other cast members. Adherence to this policy is mandatory and any violation will result in immediate removal from the event and possible disqualification from participating in future City events.
3. All applicants are required to provide a COI (Certificate of Liability Insurance) with the City of Boynton Beach listed as additionally insured, their W9 and a quote of the service you will provide.

4. City staff (which includes but is not limited to the Boynton Beach Police Department, the Boynton Beach Fire-Rescue Department and the Events team) will be onsite at all times during setup, during the event and during the breakdown. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance. 
5. All crew members are required to provide their own setup, power source, lighting, and anything they need to create a successful experience.  
6. The City is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. 
7. As part of the crew, you must maintain a high standard of professionalism. Please remember that you are representing the event to the public. Cast and their staff are required to act in a manner that is polite and must, at all times, preserve the safety of all persons at the event. Cast must immediately bring any issues with guests, other cast and or vendors, or the event to the attention of the event staff so that they can work to resolve the problem. Unprofessional conduct, including derogatory comments made to any other person at the event will not be tolerated and may result in the cast and or vendor being expelled from the event.
