Market Bylaws
The Pumpkin Patch at 5G Farm is an annual family friendly event. Vendors are invited to sell your goods.
Food trucks are limited to 1 truck per food type and a maximum of 5 trucks per day. This year, we are allowing food trucks all weekend!
It is very important to list everything you sell. If you show up and have items not listed on your application, you may be asked to remove them. Example: it you are selling shirts and you have tumblers also, if someone else reserved for tumblers, you will not be allowed to sell tumblers Vendor categories are limited to 1 per type.
Reservations are made on a first paid basis Initial applications will be approved mid June and emails sent out with your approval.
Payment is due to reserve your space. Until payment is made, your space is NOT reserved. Late applications will be approved throughout the pumpkin patch and approved on an as needed basis.
Market times
Fridays 4pm to 7pm Vendors are able to set up starting at 2pm
Saturdays 9am to 5pm Vendors are able to start setting up at 7am
Sundays 11am to 5pm Vendors are able to start setting up at 9am
Youth Entrepreneur Weekend Youth vendor cost Saturday and Sunday $15 per day

Expectations: 1. ALL reservations to be paid by Monday for the following weekend (product categories are limited).
2. Bring a tent (10x10), tent weights (20lbs per tent leg), tables, chairs, signage, etc.
3. For set up, vendors are expected to arrive between 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to event start time and be ready to start selling by start time. Vendor vehicles are required to be moved to vendor parking area 30 minutes prior to opening. This is NOT optional
4. Vendors are expected to sell & stay until event end time. If you sell out early, take pre-orders for the next market, educate others on your products, & promote your social media pages. Or just have fun!! You may NOT drive vehicle up to pumpkin patch before close. No exceptions will be made to this 5. Smile. Respect others and treat them as you would want to be treated. Happily great customers. HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!!
6. Refund Policy: No refunds if you have paid for the entire pumpkin patch, except in extenuating circumstances in writing with approval. If you have decided to pay weekly, payment is expected by Monday prior to the market date you're attending. Refunds will be given if 5G Farm cancels a date due to inclement weather. No refund for no-shows. No refunds for Disclaimer violations and may not be able to return.
7. Port-a-Johns are available on site free of charge, BUT you have the option to participate in the vendor ONLY Port-a-john.
8. No electricity is available on site. Vendors with Freezers &/or Refrigerators, &/or Cooking on-site should plan to bring their own generator and extension cords. If you are wanting electricity for cooling fans or POS, you will need to bring battery operated ones & charging boxes.
9. You can unload your vehicle at your spot but please move it to the vendor parking area before you set up so others can unload. Vendor parking area will be marked off. If you have a handicap or disabled placard or license plate, you will be able to park in handicap parking area, otherwise, ALL vehicles mush park in vendor parking
10. Permitting: Prepared Food vendors are required to have a Collin County Health Department. Cottage law vendors are not required to get a permit. ALL vendors are responsible to provide needed insurance and health permits
11. Trash: All Trash MUST be picked up AND REMOVED when you leave. (the small trash cans on-site are for customer use). DO NOT fill up the pumpkin patch trash cans! If you leave trash at your site, a $50 cleanup fee will be due before you can reserve again
12. If you are booking multiple days on the same weekend, you are welcome to leave your booth setup. We strongly recommend that you lower your tent and do NOT leave food out. Neither The Pumpkin Patch or 5G Farm is responsible in anyway for any items left on site, but in 5 years, there has not been any issues except some wind damage
13. If signed up as a youth vendor on our youth entrepreneur weekends, youth under 21 must work booth. This is not meant as a discount for adult vendors who bring their children. This is for our youth whole make something to sell.
Communication Policy: Communicating with the market manager is very important. This can be done via text, email or phone. Transferring or canceling your market date needs to be in writing via email (ONLY) and requires confirmation by the market manager. Your business name & the date you are referring to MUST be written in the communication. (Please send a quick text that you have sent an email)

If you fall under Cottage Food Laws, you do not need a temporary food permit, but you must comply with Cottage Law
