About the registration

The 21st Highland Jazz and Blues Festival will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Columbia Park located in Shreveport, LA.

 

The vendor application is open to artists, artisans/crafters, culinary curators, and other businesses that have a product to sale that brings a uniqueness to the festival. 

 

Vendors will be defined as follows: 

Artists/Artisans/Crafters: An artist, artisan, and crafter is one or makes art or objects with their hands with a level of skill and proficiency.

Cottage Food Vendor: A Cottage Food vendor is one who makes jams, jellies, preserves, syrups, sauces, salsa, flavored oils, vinegars, pickles, fermented products, dried products, candies, and baked goods, all of which must be packaged and labeled in accordance with Louisiana Cottage Food Law.

Concessionaire/Food Truck: A concessionaire and/or food truck is an entrepreneurial food business that prepares various forms of food for public consumption on the festival site.

Added Value Vendor: An added value vendor is a business/organization that does not fall under any of the other categories, but has a product, activity, or service that provides added value to the festival

Nonprofit organization: A 501c3 organization that this providing an activity or service at the festival.

 

All vendors will be notified of application status by August 15th.

About the event

The Highland Area Partnership is thrilled to announce the 21st Anniversary of the Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Columbia Park located in Shreveport’s Historic Highland Neighborhood. This event will showcase memorable musical performances on three stages, a children’s area, pet park, artisans, food trucks, and more. The Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is FREE to attend. This year promises to be a vibrant celebration of the rich musical heritage of jazz and blues, culture, and community, drawing jazz and blues enthusiasts from near and far. In addition to the music, throughout the park there will be more than 70 food and artisan vendors, a Children’s Area with hands-on art activities from local nonprofits, and a Pet Park area for furry friends. A FREE shuttle service will run continuously during the day. Merchandise and official poster sales will be located next to the Pavilion Stage. Terms & Conditions

Vendor Payments:  If a vendor is chosen, they will be contacted and an invoice sent for their participation in the festival. Vendor fees are due by Friday, August 29, 2025. Vendor fees are as follows; 

    1. Artists/Artisans/Crafters: $65 per 10’x10’ space (electricity will cost an additional $10 if needed)

    2. Cottage Food Vendor: $65 per 10’x10’ space  (electricity will cost an additional $10 if needed)

    3. Concessionaire/Food Truck: $250 per 10’x10’ space (or food truck space)

    4. Added Value Vendor: This fee will be determined based on the product and/or service you are providing, prices will start at $65 per 10’x10’ space  (electricity will cost an additional $10 if needed)

    5. Nonprofit organization: Nonprofit organizations that are providing a free service or activity to attendees will not be charged a booth fee.
