About the application

Vendors in this category are limited to non-profits, community groups, and businesses that will host a Kid’s HANDS ON ARTS & CRAFTS PROJECT BOOTH or CARNIVAL GAME. NO SALES or SOLICITING are allowed.

To be considered, please complete and submit the full application form no later than June 1, 2025. Applications will be accepted after this date as space allows. Preference will first be given to groups/businesses based in Fair Oaks. All booths must be family-friendly.

Village Park & Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center Grand Opening Celebration - Family Festival Sunday, August 24 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Celebrate day two of our grand opening with a fun-filled day for the whole community! Enjoy guided tours, live entertainment, hands-on class demos, carnival games, food vendors, and more. Don’t forget to grab a passport, collect stamps at each station to redeem for a prize. PLEASE NOTE: The date of the Grand Opening is pending construction completion. In the event the project is delayed and the opening is impacted, you will be notified.

PLEASE NOTE: The date of the Grand Opening is pending construction completion. In the event the project is delayed and the opening is impacted, you will be notified.

All Activity Booths will be located in Village Park (closest to Temescal St.) and must adhere to the following requirements:

1. Supply a hands on Arts & Crafts project that can be taken with the child once completed OR a Carnival Game the child may play to win a prize. Please note: Coloring Pages or Small Spin to Win Wheels or similar will not be accepted.

2. Vendor is responsible for bringing all supplies, equipment, prizes, etc. The District has a limited # of Carnival Games that can be borrowed (please email Mary at mstoakley@forpd to inquire what is available).

3. Vendor should plan to have enough supplies and prizes for a minimum of 250 children.

4. The Arts & Crafts project or Carnival Game shall be the main focus of the booth. However, the vendor may market themselves with a banner or signage at their booth and hand out a flyer or marketing material on their offerings.

There is a $25 non-refundable application and processing fee for those accepted into the event. Fee will be automatically charged upon acceptance. Those who are not accepted will not be charged.

Vendor should plan to have enough supplies and prizes for a minimum of 250 children. 4. The Arts & Crafts project or Carnival Game shall be the main focus of the booth.
