🍱 Food & Drink Vendor Opportunity at Chaoticon! 🍜
Chaoticon is LaPorte, Indiana’s newest anime and pop culture convention, taking place September 13–14, 2025, and we’re currently looking for a limited number of food and drink trucks to serve our amazing guests!
This is an incredible opportunity to get your brand in front of a fun, hungry crowd of anime fans, cosplayers, families, and pop culture lovers. Our event already has over 10 special guests booked—including Power Rangers and anime voice actors—and with strong advertising efforts, we’re expecting up to 4,000 attendees over the 2-day event!
🍽️ What We're Looking For:
Popular convention-friendly food and beverage options like:
Asian-inspired eats (boba tea, mochi, sushi, poke bowls, dumplings, ramen, etc.)
Street food favorites (tacos, nachos, hot dogs, fries, popcorn, pretzels)
Sweet treats (ice cream, cotton candy, churros, milk tea, cupcakes)
Vegan, vegetarian, and allergy-friendly options are also appreciated!
📍 Details:
Vendors must be self-sufficient (generators, permits, etc.).
You will keep 100% of your sales—we will not be charging a fee nor paying vendors directly.
Guests will purchase food directly from you.

Food & Drink Vendor Terms and Conditions — Chaoticon 2025

By submitting an application to be a food or beverage vendor at Chaoticon 2025 (September 13–14, 2025 in LaPorte, IN), the applicant agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Please note vendors
1. Vendor Fees & Sales
Chaoticon will not pay food or drink vendors directly.
Vendors will retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for handling all payments, including cash, card, or mobile pay.
- All food truck vendors must complete and submit an application for approval prior to the event. Please note that while applications may be approved, outdoor placement is first come, first serve on the day of setup.
- Food trucks must agree to promote Chaoticon via social medias, store fronts, and flyers/window clings. Vendors agree to post these and keep them visible.
- Final details and any necessary adjustments will be discussed as the event date approaches.
2. Food Truck Requirements
Vendors must provide their own equipment, including but not limited to generators, tents, cooking equipment, and signage.
All equipment must be in good working condition and comply with local health and safety regulations.
Vendor trucks must be staffed at all times during open hours of the event.
Vendors are responsible for setup and breakdown within the designated times provided.
3. Permits & Compliance
All vendors must provide proof of required food permits, licenses, and insurance (if required for food vendors) prior to the event.
Vendors must comply with all LaPorte County Health Department regulations and fire safety codes.
Chaoticon reserves the right to remove any vendor that fails to comply with legal or safety requirements without refund or compensation.
4. Insurance (if required)
Vendors must carry general liability insurance covering any damage or injury that may occur at their booth or truck.
A Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming Chaoticon and its organizers as additional insured may be required prior to the event.
5. Menu & Offerings
To avoid redundancy, vendors may be asked to submit a sample menu.
Chaoticon reserves the right to limit or request changes to menus to ensure a variety of offerings and minimize overlap.
6. Clean-Up & Waste Disposal
Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary space at all times.
All waste, grease, and trash must be properly disposed of in designated areas. Dumping or improper disposal will result in fines or removal from the event.
7. Electricity & Water
Limited access to electricity and water may be available; please note any requirements in your application.
If not requested in advance, on-site accommodations may not be guaranteed.
8. Marketing & Promotion
Chaoticon will promote participating food vendors on social media, the official website, and printed materials when possible.
Vendors are encouraged to cross-promote the event on their own platforms.
9. Cancellation
Vendors who must cancel must notify the organizers no later than 30 days before the event. Late cancellations or no-shows may be excluded from future events.
Chaoticon reserves the right to cancel vendor participation due to non-compliance, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
