Info & Resources: Earth Day Cleanup

The Downtown Albany BID invites environmentally focused agencies, companies, non-profit organizations, and groups to share information, resources, and/or offer free experiences related to environmental sustainability, waste management, recycling, up-cycling, composting, sustainable living, agriculture, and related topics. There is no fee to table at the Earth Day Cleanup. 

The Earth Day Cleanup is attended by 100+ daytime workers and residents of downtown Albany. This is a great opportunity to reach engaged, active members of the community of all ages eager to learn how to make more sustainable choices in their daily lives, and discover other volunteer and advocacy opportunities, and events focused on the environment.

By submitting this application, you (the "Exhibitor") agree to abide by the terms below, as well as the arrival times, setup times, event times, booth size and location assigned to you by the Downtown Albany BID (the "Producer"). Exhibitors also agree to follow any instructions given by the Producer's staff members and volunteers. The Producer reserves the right to assign a new booth location or dismiss any Exhibitor who arrives late, or fails or refuses to follow instructions, or for any reason, at any time.

This application is for exhibitors wishing to share information, resources, and free experiences only. Applications submitted by food trucks/food stands, or vendors wishing to sell or promote unrelated products or topics will be rejected. 

Terms:

• Exhibitors must supply all of their own equipment, including, but not limited to: Tent(s) if using, tables & linens if using, chair(s), if using, literature, signage and displays, if using.

• Exhibitors must ensure their booth spaces are clean and free of trash and debris at the end of the event.
• Exhibitors must have a sign clearly showing the name of their organization.
• No smoking, alcoholic beverages or firearms are permitted at the event.
• No hawking, proselytizing, panhandling, or amplified music, other than music approved by the Producers, is permitted at the market.
• Exhibitors are responsible for the actions of their representatives, employees or agents.

Schedule:

Arrival time: 10:00 AM or sooner (check in at Clinton Ave, between N Pearl St and Broadway)

Setup: Exhibitors must be set up and ready to interact with guests by 11:00 AM

Breakdown: Event ends at 3:00 PM, and exhibitors may begin breaking down their booths at this time.
