This category is only for bars and/or restaurants that exist within the festival footprint. Please note that retail businesses in Fell's Point have a separate category. All operators within the festival footprint must purchase space from the festival to vend in the street.

 

Festival Footprint:

The Fell's Point Fun Festival footprint includes Thames St beginning at the 1500 block and ending at the 1800 block as well as the 800 block of South Broadway.

 

Fell's Point businesses not within the festival footprint are not eligible for these spaces and must apply through the standard vendor program (Food Vendor - Tent/Booth category).

 

Extension requests must be made directly with and approved by the Baltimore City Liquor Board.

About the event

The Fell's Point Fun Festival began in 1967 as a fundraiser to raise money to fight against a project that would have linked I-83 and I-95 and demolished an extensive area of Fell's Point. Thanks to the initial organizers of this festival our neighborhood fought back and Fell's Point as we know it was saved. Since then, the Annual Fell's Point Fun Festival has grown to cover 6 city blocks in the heart of our beautiful historic, eclectic, and unique neighborhood. The Fell's Point Fun Festival's organizer, The Preservation Society, has worked to maintain the 18th and 19th century character of the historic structures within Fell’s Point. The society operates without cost to the city of Baltimore and it currently maintains many of the buildings as well as runs historic tours of Fell’s Point. The Fell’s Point Fun Festival has grown dramatically over the years and continues to have a large impact in maintaining the historic integrity of Fell’s Point for businesses, residents and visitors.

By applying under the Fell's Point Bar/Restaurant Parklet, you confirm that your business is located within the festival footprint (outlined in the above category description). Please be aware that the addresses provided in your application will be verified to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions.

 

Please note:

  • Each space in this category is priced at $575 and measures 10ft by 10ft. 
  • You have the option to purchase multiple spaces, up to the width of your storefront. 
  • Your space will be automatically assigned directly in front of your bar and/or restaurant location. To ensure accurate placement, please confirm that the address and business name provided in your application match the location where your assigned space should be situated.
  • You may enhance your space with an artistic display, a special entrance to your business, a booth, or other creative elements, but leaving a space empty can detract from the overall festival experience for attendees, so please ensure that your allocated area is actively used.
