About the registration

Welcome to the Grand Arts & Eats Event! Browse through our applications and let us know if you have any questions. This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically. Please note that space is limited and applications can close at any time once we reach our max registrants

 

Categories: Artists may apply in up to 3 categories. You must submit a separate application for each category. For example: If you sell jewelry, you may apply in a category other than Jewelry if jewelry is less than 10% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry.

 

All work displayed in the booth must be for sale. 

Artists must be onsite for the entire event. 

 

CATEGORIES:

Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.

Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.

Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted.

Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.

Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.

Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.

Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.

Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.

Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable.

Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.

Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium. Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works.

Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

All aboard! This spring, join Pearland for a celebration of the Old Townsite district. Follow the tracks to Grand Boulevard for artist and maker booths, farmer’s market vendors, live music, FUMC Family Zone , and delicious food from local restaurants.

EXHIBITOR CONFIRMATION & INSTRUCTIONS

 

Essential Information:

Event date: Saturday, April 26

Set-up is from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m.

Tents must be WHITE or OFF WHITE in color and weighted

Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the event

Breakdown is 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

NO EARLY BREAKDOWN IS ALLOWED!

 

Thank you for registering for the Pearland Grand Arts & Eats event scheduled for Saturday, April 26th, in Zychlinski Park - Old Town Pearland, 2243 N. Grand Blvd, Pearland 77581. Please read the following important details carefully.

 

About Our Exhibitors

We are excited to highlight artists from across the state of Texas right here in Pearland:

  • Talented area musicians

Check-in

When you arrive at Zychlinski Park that morning, please check in at the Registration Booth near the Park Ave. side of the park. Show staff will check you in and direct you to your assigned location. Your space assignment will be provided at check-in. Check-in BEFORE setting up is necessary.  You will receive a dashboard identification flyer which must be placed in your vehicle dashboard prior to unloading. If you’re travelling with more than one vehicle EACH vehicle must have a dashboard identification flyer to enter the event area.

 

Set-Up and Breakdown

The area around Zychlinski Park will be blocked at various points for the event. However, we will allow for an Exhibitor Entrance that will open at 7:30 a.m. and will close promptly at 9:00 am.

  • Set-Up is from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26th. All booths must be ready no later than 9:30 a.m. Vendors who arrive after 9:00 a.m. are subject to have their spot forfeited.
  • The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Breakdown is from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday April 26th, no later than 7:00 p.m. NO early breakdown is permitted.

Loading/Unloading/Parking

Loading and unloading is permissible during the set-up and breakdown times only. Vehicles must be moved immediately after unloading/loading.

  • Public parking is located adjacent to the Park. There is NO parking on the event grounds or on the parking spaces in the circular area.

Exhibitor Booths

  • The event provides you with a 10’ x 10’ space.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for bringing their booth supplies including: tents, tables, chairs, and weights to secure items as needed.
  • All tents must be weighted down to prevent them from blowing over in case of wind. In the event of inclement weather, please be prepared to house items or cover items to keep from damage.
  • Only artists with approved applications are allowed to set-up, sharing of booth space by outside exhibitors is strictly prohibited.
  • Political flyers and messages are strictly prohibited in the Art Show footprint.  

Note: Electrical outlets will not be provided for the artists area.

 

Security

On-site security will be present throughout the event. The City of Pearland or Visit Pearland will not be responsible for any damage or loss.

 

Reminders

  • Tents must be WHITE OR OFF WHITE in color. 
  • Ground, pavement, walls, poles, etc. surrounding booth must not be damaged or defaced in any way.
  • Agree that all marketing and promotional material will be distributed ONLY from booth location. No one is to distribute information whether verbal or printed from outside the assigned booth space, unless otherwise authorized.
  • Artists agree to be onsite and operate booth space throughout all hours and days of the event and agree to remain in the booth until official closing time.
  • Artists are responsible for obtaining and securing a state sales tax permit ID and properly displaying it as necessary.

The City of Pearland or Visit Pearland make no representation as to the number of potential event attendees and assumes no liability for any financial loss due to vendor’s operation at the event. Once a Vendor/Artist application is approved and payment is rendered, no refunds will be issued.

10x10 Booth $50.00 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep.
10x20 Booth $150.00 Non-refundable Included in this fee is a $50 REFUNDABLE application fee which is charged upon application submission. Fee will be reimbursed upon successful show completion without issue or cancellation. Double booth space: 10x20
Deposit (Required) $50.00 This is a required $50 REFUNDABLE application fee which is charged upon application submission and will be reimbursed to you upon successful show completion without issue or cancellation.
