In its 28th year, Taste of Pikes Peak remains dedicated to its mission: uniting restaurants, beverage suppliers, and industry enthusiasts to celebrate the vibrant culinary landscape of the Pikes Peak Region. Our event is not just about savoring incredible flavors but also about giving back to the community.
With a remarkable 27-year legacy and ticket sales reaching from Pueblo to Denver, Taste of Pikes Peak serves as a vital ambassador for the Pikes Peak Region's culinary scene. We take immense pride in being the largest food event in Southern Colorado, and our commitment extends beyond indulgence.

We are the primary fundraiser for the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association, supporting essential initiatives like the Colorado Restaurant Foundation and ProStart programs in regional high schools. Food vendors are limited to brick and mortar locations only.
The 2025 event will have an estmated 2500 attendees. Vendors are asked to sample
Staffing:
Each registered space will receive 4 wristbands for staff (MUST HAVE IDs to receive wristbands) When you check in you will receive an envelope with your wristbands.
RESTAURANT/BEVERAGE VENDORS TO PROVIDE
- RESTAURANTS - Please provide no less than 800 samples
- BREWERIES – 800 samples 2oz max
- DISTILLERIES/LIQUOR – 800 samples .5oz max
- WINE – 800 samples 2oz max
Décor for your space – Brand your tent, make your product stand out. Think table linens, floral arrangements, décor from your space, framed menu signs. Attendees connect experience to tastes, hit all their senses. (Banners may be hung in tent, 3’x10’ with grommets is the ideal size. Please bring zip ties.)
- Removal of all landfill waste – DO NOT LEAVE TRASH IN YOUR SPACE, please use the roll off at the north end of the event for any trash.
- Handwashing Station, information on handwashing will be provided.
COLORADO RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION / EVENT WILL PROVIDE
- 800 6” round Eco Products Compostable Plates for each restaurant
- 800 compostable sporks for each restaurant
- Compostable beverage napkins
- Reusable cup for all attendees (these are treated like a wine tasting, attendees will use one cup for the entire event and they are collected at the conclusion of the event)
- 10x10 space
- 10x10 tent with weights - if rented before event
- One 8'x30" front table with black linen
- One 6'x18" back table for prep (for restaurants only)
- Ice (40#) for beverage vendors
- Electricity is available for $100 - must be reserved no later than Monday, July 15
- Wristbands for all attendees over 21
DO’s & DON’TS
- DO bring your A-game in product, staff and booth set up
- DO have fun, make your space memorable, provide an experience beyond the sample
- DO dress appropriately for the weather
- DO rotate staff to enjoy and experience the event
- DO network with your fellow industry people
- DO promote your participation before, during and after the event
- DO NOT bring non-compostable plates, forks, spoons, portion cups
- DO NOT bring swag that will end up in the trash. Print QR code signs for email sign ups, encourage attendees to follow you on social media. Do not hand out business cards that will end up in the compost.
- DO NOT arrive late for set up, VIP starts promptly at 5pm with several elected officials, local media and sponsors participating
- DO NOT break down early – if there is an opportunity for vendors to leave early, staff will walk the site to let you know where and how to exit
- DO NOT LEAVE A MESS BEHIND, you will be fined by the event for any clean up fees required by the BID
BEST TASTE CONTEST
The Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association is sponsoring a $500 prize to the restaurant with the best overall taste. Judges include local food writer Matthew Schniper of Side Dish with Schniper, Meagan Thomas from Springs Native, Mayor Yemi, Justin Miller from the Broadmoor and Matt Kroschel from KKTV. Tastes will be judged on overall flavor, presentation and booth décor. Judges will announce the winner at 6:45pm before the band takes the stage.

- I understand all vendors must have a tent to participate. Tents can be rented through the event. All tents must have weights with a minimum of 30lbs per leg. Vendors without weights will be billed $75 for weights onsite.
