About the event

There's No Time Like Fair Time! Join us at the Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds for the 2025 Isle of Wight County Fair, September 11-14! Thursday September 11, 2025 – Carload Night: Best Bargain of the Fair! (5:00pm-10:00pm) -Bring your entire family or friends in one car, van or truck and pay $55 online or $60 at the gate to enter the Fair and enjoy “all you can ride” wristbands for everyone in the vehicle. -Limit 8 people per vehicle. -Passengers must be legally seated in vehicle. (No passengers in truck beds please). -Single entry admission only tickets are available for $10 online or $15 at the gate each for guests age 6 and older (does not include rides). -NOTE: Individual ride tickets will NOT be available for purchase on Carload Night. Friday September 12, 2025 (10:00am-11:00pm) Saturday September 13, 2025 (10:00am-11:00pm) Sunday September 14, 2025 (11:00am-6:00pm) -Ages 6 to 12 years $8 (online) $10 at the gate -Ages 13 and above $10 (online) $15 at the gate -Children 5 and under enter for FREE -2 Day pass $18 (online only) -3 Day pass $26 (online only) *Friday Special* September 12, 2025 -(10:00 am – 2:00pm Only): Senior Citizens (55 and up) and Elementary School Children pay $1 between 10am and 2pm and enjoy the Fair for as long as you care to stay. -Sunflower Hours (12 pm - 4 pm Only): Guests with disabilities + 1 caretaker/companion pay $1 each between 12 pm and 4 pm and enjoy the Fair for as long as you care to stay. *Sunday Special* September 14, 2025 - Military Appreciation Day Guests with valid military ID – $5 off regular admission on Sunday, September 14, 2025 only.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Vendor agrees to supply manpower to operate concessions according to the following schedule:
    1. Thursday, September 11, 2025: 5 p.m.-10 p.m.
    2. Friday, September 12, 2025: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.
    3. Saturday, September 13, 2025: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.
    4. Sunday, September 14, 2025: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
  2. The Board reserves the right to terminate this contract and require the removal of vendor booth or exhibit for any cause deemed reasonable by the Fair Committee.
  3. Booth setup will be scheduled with each Concessionaire. It is imperative that all vendors are unloaded and vehicles removed from the fairgrounds no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Vehicles will not be permitted back on the fairgrounds for breakdown until 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Concessionaire must be inside the Fairgrounds daily at least 30 minutes prior to the Fair opening to the public and cannot leave the Fairgrounds until directed out by Fair staff after the Fair closes.
  4. Vendor must provide proof of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 naming Isle of Wight County as additionally insured.
  5. Vendor must provide proof of ability to operate in Isle of Wight County through local VDH.
  6. Vendors are responsible for supplying, as well as, setting up their own areas and bringing a minimum (2) 50ft or (1) 100ft extension cords, cam lock and a minimum 100ft water hose. Vendors are also expected to clean up their assigned areas at the conclusion of their sales each day. All trash must be disposed of properly for consideration to participate in next year’s Fair. LED lights are strongly recommended for power efficiency.
  7. Food Vendors will be given tickets for admissions into the Fair for workers only. These tickets are ONLY for use by people working your booth. These tickets will be collected at the gate each day. Each vendor will need one ticket per employee per day. Please get a hand stamp if you are intending to leave and return to the Fairgrounds on the same day.
  8. All workers who arrive without their admission ticket must pay the admission fee unless prior arrangements have been made with the Food Vendors Chair. Please distribute the tickets and explain to your employees that the tickets will be collected each day at the admissions gate. All workers will need a new ticket each day they work.
  9. Vendors will receive all Vendor and Vehicle Passes when you arrive to set up for the 2025 Isle of Wight County Fair.
  10. There is no rain site or rain date. Vendors should come prepared with suitable materials to protect their merchandise for any weather conditions. Events will remain open for business until closing on all event days. Failure to comply, may jeopardize future contracts with your business or organization.
  11. There will be NO SMOKING including E-Vapor Cigarettes in your area! There will also be no consumption of alcohol while working your booth.  
  12. All vendors are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor while participating in this event. This includes interactions with event staff, other vendors, and attendees. Specifically, vendors must refrain from:
    • Making derogatory, inflammatory, or otherwise unprofessional comments about event staff, other vendors, or their products/services.
    • Engaging in behavior that could be perceived as disruptive, hostile, or damaging to the event’s collaborative and welcoming environment.
  13. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in corrective action, including but not limited to:
    • A formal warning.
    • Removal from the event without refund.
    • Disqualification from participating in future events.
  14. An application is a commitment to show when accepted by the Fair Staff. NO REFUNDS will be made for cancellation after notification of acceptance or cancellation due to inclement weather. Vendor space is nontransferable.
  15. Applications must be submitted by July 1, 2025. Applications are reviewed and accepted by the Fair Committee. Previous participation as well as diversity in menu items are the main consideration in the decision. Vendors will be notified when application has been received and again once accepted.
