Application for all Food Trucks & Food Booths that DO NOT SELL shrimp & grits.
The Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival is a coastal favorite and a nationally award-winning event that combines the classic southern dish with family-friendly entertainment, art and craft vendors, live music, food, and more. Now in its seventeenth year, with more than 30,000 guests, the festival is held in Jekyll Island’s National Historic Landmark District.
Note: This is not a Georgia Grown Member Application and is not transferable if used by mistake. Food Court Vendor DO NOT sell Shrimp & Grits or have it on their menu

Non-refundable application fee: $40.00·
Applicant must provide five (5) Images:
- One (1) authentic outside image of the entire food truck or booth. The image must reflect what the vendor will look like at the Festival. Most of the time an image of the truck/booth is the final deciding factor for acceptance.
- One (1) image of the menu that will be served at the festival. Food Court vendors do not sell Shrimp & Grits or have it on their menu. § Pricing must be on the menu and must remain the same for the duration of the festival.
- Three (3) different images of the food options on your menu for the festival.
When accepted Food Court Vendors must provide the following on or before September 25, 2025, or forfeit vendor space:
- Food vendor License Agreement (attached to application)
- Certificate of Liability Insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 with the Jekyll Island Authority listed as additionally insured.·
An application will be rejected if all requirements are not followed.
Furthermore, by signing below you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Jekyll Island Authority from any claims whatsoever arising from your participation as a vendor and any theft, loss, or damage to the person or property of the undersigned while in possession or under the supervision of Jekyll Island Authority during the Shrimp & Grits Festival.
No refunds or credits will be issued for vendor cancellation, inclement weather cancellation, or an act of God.

| Additional Festival Vendor Parking Hangtag for vendor parking lot | $25.00 | Non-refundable | One (1) Festival vendor parking hangtag will be distributed at load-in. This does not provide free entry to Jekyll Island State Park. Extra hangtags can be purchased at the time of applying for the festival for $25 each. However, they cannot be purchased at load-in time and must be purchased in advance. This hangtags gives you entrance to onsite vendor parking at the festival. |

- I am bringing a generator and understand it must pass inspection and be permitted by the Jekyll Island Authority Code Compliance Officer before it can be used on Festival grounds.
- I understand that if I’m bringing a generator I must provide a description of it below or the unit will not be scheduled for inspection and permitted for use at the festival. Answer N/A if not bringing one.
- I understand that Food Court Vendors may not sell Shrimp & Grits or have it on their menu.
- If accepted I agree to complete & return the Food Vendor License Agreement and a Certificate of Liability Insurance on or before September 25, 2025 to the festival or forfit my space
- I understand we need to come prepared with any equipment or tools for my equipment at the festival because additional assistance from the JIA will be billed at $75 per hour or part of, plus the cost of equipment..
