About the application
Please Note: This application is for retail stores and restaurants located within downtown walnut creek, and businesses looking to purchase a booth at the starting location. If you are a winery, brewery, or other beverage distributor, or outside food/eatery please submit our "Pouring & Tasting Partner Application.
Join us at Walnut Creek Uncorked on Thursday, June 26th, from 5:30-8:30 PM! This popular event brings the community together to sip, savor, and stroll through downtown shops while enjoying tastings from local beverage providers and small bites from local eateries.
With over 750 attendees and 40 participating businesses in 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your products, connect with new customers, and promote your business in a lively and engaging setting. All participating businesses will be listed on the event website and event map.
Each host business is required to provide a beverage tasting (wine, beer or spirit) and small food bites. We encouraged hosts to partner with local businesses to provide their beverage and/or food samples. If preferred, host businesses can choose for WCD to pair them with a pouring partner. Please note, all businesses who choose to not be paired are required to declare your beverage and food plans with WCD prior to the event. Participants are encouraged to get creative and make their space stand out to attract attendees.
Spots are limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up early to secure your place. We can’t wait to Sip, Savor & Stroll with you!

About the event
Terms & Conditions
Event Boundaries & Map:
The starting location for Walnut Creek Uncorked is Rudney Plaza at the Lesher Center. To ensure all businesses are within easy walking distance for attendees, the event boundaries are defined as the area between Civic Drive to Mt. Diablo Blvd and between N. California Blvd and N. Broadway.
If your business is located outside these boundaries, we recommend applying for a booth at the starting location or partnering with a business within the defined area. If you’re interested in partnering with another business, reach out to our team—we’d be happy to help connect you. Please see the attached map for more details.
Partner Pairings:
Please note that if you select the option to have WCD coordinator your beverage partner, coordinating with them is your responsibility. Coordinating staffing, arrival of beverages/food, and setup of your space is your responsibility. Once pairings are finalized, you will be provided with all of the contact information needed to coordinate with your partners.
Event Tickets:
Tickets to the event are not included in your registration. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for your team, please contact kelsey@walnutcreekdowntown.com for special ticket pricing.
Registration Fee:
The registration fee for this event covers the WCD staff time planning the event, marketing materials and campaign, and the ABC permit provided for your business. If you are unable to pay the registration fee, please reach out to kelsey@walnutcreekdowntown.com to discuss alternative options.

We will pair you with a local beverage purveyor who will provide tastings at your retail location during the event. You are still required to provide food tastings. Please note, pairings are at our discretion considering those who have expressed interest. Partners are limited and are first come, first paired. We are unable to accommodate special requests and encourage you to make your own arrangements if you have a request or desire. |
