Virginia Highland Porchfest Food Application

About the Event:

Virginia Highland Porchfest is BACK for its 5th year on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Local bands will be jammin' and porches will be hoppin' as music fills Virginia Highland. We are selecting a lineup of amazing food vendors to participate in the event.

Event Schedule:

• The Rock n Run begins around 10:30-11:00 AM and will pass by your booth
• Bands start at 11AM-12 PM and end at 6 PM, with additional performances in the business district starting at 6 PM.
• Vendors must be loaded in by 10:00 AM. You are welcome to wrap up at 6 PM.

Application Timeline:

• Applications are due by March 14
• Approved vendors will be sent an email by April 1

Requirements:

• Vendors are responsible for providing everything they will need to operate during the event, including generators, extension cords, and trash cans.
• Please note that we have had 40k attendees in past years, so expect a crowd and bring plenty of inventory. We will be looking for vendors with a faster quick turnaround time to keep lines short.

• This is a Rain or Shine event; a $50 refund will be provided for inclement weather or other conditions beyond our control if the entire event shuts down/is canceled prior to the start time.
• $25 Application Fee + 3% Processing Fee
• $200 Fee for Dessert Vendors + 3% Processing Fee
• $350 Fee for Savory Vendors + 3% Processing Fee
• Vendors must have proof of insurance
• We recommend that you have an offline payment processing option due to crowd size and potential for limited cell/device service
• For safety precautions, we ask that you do not serve beverages in glass containers
