About the application
About the Event:
Virginia Highland Porchfest is BACK for its 5th year on May 17, 2025. Local bands will be jammin' and porches will be hoppin' as music fills the neighborhood. We are selecting a lineup of talented artists and makers to participate in the event.
Event Schedule:
- The Rock n Run begins around 10:30-11:00am and will pass by your booth
- Bands start at 11AM-12 PM and end at 6 PM, with additional performances in the business district starting at 6 PM.
- Vendors must be loaded in by 10 AM. You are welcome to wrap up at 6 PM.
Application Timeline:
- Applications are due by March 14
- Approved vendors will be sent an email by April 1
Requirements:
- Vendors are responsible for providing their entire display, including tables, tent, chairs, table cloths, and other display items.
- Vendors must use a tent that is 100% white.
- If your booth requires more than 10ft, you MUST apply and pay for 2 spaces.

About the event
Terms & Conditions
- This is a Rain or Shine event; a $50 refund will be provided for inclement weather or other conditions beyond our control if the entire event shuts down/is canceled prior to the start time.
- $20 application fee (plus 3% processing fee)
- Once accepted, there is a $175 booth fee (plus 3% processing fee) for participation
- This year, we have space for approximately 50-55 vendors.
- Vendors must have proof of insurance
- Vendors must use a white 10x10' tent
- We recommend that you bring an offline payment processing option due to crowd size and potential for limited cell/device service
- Vendors offering alcoholic or drug-related products will not be accepted.
- We prioritize vendors offering handmade, custom, or unique items, and will not consider applications from those reselling mass-produced products.
- With plenty of walking between music performances, we recommend offering items that are easy for attendees to carry throughout the day.

- The volunteer committee typically reviews 100+ vendor applications for this event; vendors with incomplete or inaccurate information may be declined if they cannot be properly evaluated.
- While samples are encouraged, your products for sale must be pre-packaged and for home consumption. If you intend to sell consumables designed to be eaten on-site, please apply as a food truck.
