We’re thrilled to invite the entire international community in Fayetteville and Cumberland County to join us for the BEST parade of the year—the Parade of Nations! 

 

This incredible event is one of the highlights of our International Folk Festival and shines a spotlight on the rich cultural heritage and diversity that make our community so unique. With over 30+ nations represented, this is your chance to either join an existing country group marching in the parade or start your own to proudly showcase your heritage and nationality!

 

Whether you’re part of a well-established group or want to bring your traditions to the spotlight, we want YOU to be a part of the celebration!

In addition to the terms and conditions listed on this application, each accepted parade participant is a representation of The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County and is expected to maintain a level of professionalism and care for the ARTS.  We have the authority and responsibility to remove any participants who do not comply with our internal festival rules/guidelines as well as local/federal guidelines.
 
Furthermore, Accepted participants will receive additional information about festival rules including parking, vendor set-up, load-in, and a variety of other questions.
 
PARTICIPANTS THAT DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WALK IN THE PARADE.  This is for the safety and security of all participants and parade attendees.
