About the application
Join us and take part in the parade! The 58th Annual Festival of Lights Boat parade will take place December 14th, 2024. The parade will begin at 6:15pm at the ROC Park. The route has been shortened this year for boater safety. The parade will travel through majority of the fingers through Madeira Beach and end in John's Pass at approx. 8:30pm - 9pm. It is FREE to participate in the parade.
Boat Parade Guidelines
Boat number needs to be WELL LIT and displayed on the starboard side. All boats that require a bridge opening of Tom Stuart Causeway should gather toward the front of the parade line. Boat parade will be on VHF Channel 68. Parade will begin approximately between 6:15 – 6:30 in front of ROC Park. Lead boat will be a 20’ yellow Sea Hunt, boat #55. There will be a snowman on the T-top. Larger vessels should use their own discretion when navigating the narrow canals. If you do not feel comfortable you do not have to enter a canal. Just wait at the opening of the canal and hop back in line. If you have any questions, please call or text Brian Crabtree at (727) 409-0584.
