- This application is for artists who create fine art or fine crafts - no jewelry, candle, or skincare exhibitors may apply as those categories do not qualify and/or are full for this event.
- This application is for one outdoor 6 ft table space that is located in Brooke Street Park for the September Artists Market.
- The space is located along the pedestrian walking path within the market footprint and will accomodate one 6 foot long table and chair.
- The park is quite varied in elevation and your space possibly will not be completely level. Bring blocks to level your table just as a precaution.
- The space cannot be used in conjunction with a tent structure.
- A small umbrella may be used if the umbrella is weighted with sandbags and has bungee cords/adjustable straps securing it to the sandbags - if you want to use an umbrella, weighting it down is a requirement and will be verified by the Fulton County Fire Marshals office when inspecting the site. The umbrella must be a solid tasteful color.
What categories of art qualify to apply?:
This application is for fine art artists working in traditional or experimental styles. Styles such as 2-D painting in Oil, Acrylics, oil pastels, watercolors, inks, pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, crayon, pastels, alcohol markers, etc. as well as mixed media. We also encourage those artists working in 3-D Sculpture in various or unique materials to apply as well as artists working in pottery, folk-art, musical instruments, wood working, and glass blowing among other fine art categories or fine crafts such as handmade clothing, hand built bird houses or other folk art pieces as some examples. Basically any form of art or craft other than jewelry, candles or skincare/soaps.
This space gives you an opportunity to stick your toe in our event for not a lot of money with the same access to the highly affluent, art purchasing, professionals that visit our events from Alpharetta and surrounding communities in the area
Please not that some table spaces are in full sun and you will not be using a tent. You may bring an umbrella. Your umbrellas cannot exceed a span of 8 ft when open. Umbrellas must be secured with straps to the wire armature of the umbrella. Assistance with this on site is available if you contact Michael ahead of the event. You must bring all the materials to secure your site.

You will receive one outdoor table space in Brooke Street Park.
The space will be in a city park. The space may contain unlevel ground. It may be in full sun or deep shade or a combo of both. There may be tree roots, tree branches, lamp posts, park benches, stairs, railings, curving pathways, tents with sidewalls, signage, all around your space or in your space that you will have to work within or around.
You will provide everything that you will need to display your work including the table and chair. You will only receive an empty space that is the size of a 6 ft table +/- a foot on either side and the rest is up to you.
There is no electricity or water available in the park.
Alll supplies are hand carted in from the parking lot to your assigned table space. Spaces are assigned numerically in the order the applications are received.
All fees are non-refundable. Once your application is approved your fees will be immediately used to purchase advertising to promote the event. Please make sure you are not double booking events. Once your application has been submitted you will be charged the $40 fee plus the host sites credit card processing fees of 3.5%.
You may not request your fees to be moved to the October event if you decide for whatever reason to cancel your participation in September.
No refunds are possible under any circumstances. Please consider this before submitting your application.
You will receive pre-show information 5 days before the event that will give you directions to the event and details about arriving and checking in and about the venue facilities, etc. If you have any questions you may email AlpharettaAITP@gmail.com for a quicker response.
This is a rain or shine event unless their is severe weather forecasted, then the event may be cancelled with no refunds & no transferring of the fees to a later event. Take that into consideration before applying since you will not be using a tent as protection, only the umbrella that you are permitted to bring. There will be no rain make up days. There will be no refunds if you cancel your participation for any reason. Alpharetta Art in the Park will not be responsible for any damage caused by inclement weather or any act of god out of the control of the organizer and the city of Alpharetta.
You must bring drop cloths, plastic sheeting or other means to protect your art and inventory overnight. There will be security saturday evening into sunday morning. Take anything of value with you overnight. Art in the Park cannot be held responsible for any loss of theft of items left in the park.

I, the undersigned, hearby release and forever discharge MICHAEL HIPPS, Alpharetta Art in the Park, The City of Alpharetta and their repective officials, officers, directors, employees, sponsors, associates, representatives, successors or assigns, severally and jointly, of and from any and all liability, claims, actions, and possible causes of actions which may acrue to any said parties from every and any loss, damage and injury that may be sustained while participating in Alpharetta Art in the Park. 2.) A signed application constitutes a contract to follow all rules and regulations. 3.) Failure to follow rules and procedures may result in forfeiture of booth fees and not allowed to participate in future events.

- I acknowledge that spaces are assigned in the order that the applications are approved and all requests will be considered but not guaranteed. There are limited spaces in full shade and you may be assigned a space that will receive sun throughout the day.
