About the application
Join The Market on Dearborn every Friday evening from October 2024 - May 2025 from 3pm-7pm on Historic Dearborn Street in Englewood, Florida as we launch an evening market with the goal of expanding opportunities for local entrepreneurs and providing an additional family-friendly event for local residents and guests of Englewood.
The 2024-2025 Friday Market Schedule is:

November: 1, 8, 15, 22
December: 6, 13, 20
January: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
February: 7, 14, 21, 28
March: 7, 14, 21, 28
April: 4, 11, 18, 25
May: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
About the event
Terms & Conditions
Vendors agree that they are committing to multiple Friday markets per month with this application:
October: 4, 11, 18, 25
November: 1, 8, 15, 22
December: 6, 13, 20
January: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
February: 7, 14, 21, 28
March: 7, 14, 21, 28
April: 4, 11, 18, 25
May: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Food Trucks have the option of selecting specific dates and are not required to commit to a full month.
Vendors will pay monthly and agree that they will be charged on the 1st of each month for which they have registered.
The Market on Dearborn will operate in rain or shine. No refunds or credited booth fees for cancellations or no-shows. If The Market on Dearborn is cancelled due to dangerous weather, vendor booth fees will be credited but they will not be refunded.
Food Truck Vendors agree to provide 48-hour notice if they will be unable to attend a market date for which they have registered.
Food Truck Vendors understand and agree that their assigned space must be set up by the start of the event or market and all vehicles used for unloading purposes must be off the market lot by 30 minutes prior to that start time and can return no earlier than the conclusion of the market/event.
Which the exception of food trucks, vehicles are not permitted on the market site during market operating hours. Food Truck that are trailers pulled by trucks may need to be able to detach from the hauling vehicle.
Food Truck Vendors agree to utilize public parking.
Food Truck Vendors understand that they are expected to be in attendance for the full operating hours of the market or event.
Please do not leave your booth unattended, we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen objects.
Food Truck Vendors are responsible for their own set up, clean up, and trash removal.
If a vendor must leave early, they must make arrangements in advance with the market team and will be required to rent a tent from the market for that date or dates.
Please be prepared for wind. Vendors agree that they are required to provide their own tent weights, if utilizing a tent, which must be no less than 25lbs per leg, which must be either canopy sand bags or canopy weights that can attach to the tent legs. Cinderblocks are not a permitted tent weight option. If you do not have appropriate tent weights, The Market on Dearborn will provide them for $20/day.
Food TruckvVendors are responsible for providing adequate lighting for their booth/truck and understand that electric is limited. Lights should be battery powered.
Food Truck Vendors agree that The Market on Dearborn staff may take pictures and videos of the market and booths, for marketing purposes, and agree that The Market on Dearborn may share pictures containing their likeness and merchandise on The Market on Dearborn website and social media platforms.
If you are selling cottage foods, please familiarize yourself with the cottage food law. It is your responsibility to label products and follow the Cottage Food Law Guidelines.
If you are selling foods which do not fall under the Cottage Law list, please include a copy of your food license from DBPR or FDACs.
Sales tax where required by state is the responsibility of the seller. Vendors are responsible for collecting sales tax and sending to the Florida Department of Revenue by the due date.
Vendors are required to carry a liability insurance policy of $1 million in coverage and add The Market on Dearborn as an additional insured upon acceptance prior to their first date at The Market on Dearborn.
Any used, resale, or flea market merchandise; religious and political groups; petitioning; and signature gathering are not allowed at The Market on Dearborn.
The Market on Dearborn does not guarantee exclusivity.
In consideration of participating in such activity, the participant does hereby release and forever discharge The Market on Dearborn, its officers, staff, jointly and severally, from any and all actions, causes of injury, which hereafter may be sustained by participants, merchants, vendors, spectators, or others in consequence of participating in The Market on Dearborn’s Farmers Market or Special Event. This release extends and applies to, and also covers and includes, all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated, and unsuspected injuries, damages, loss and liability, and the consequences thereof, as well as those not disclosed and known to exist. The provisions or any state, federal, local or territorial law or stature providing in substance that releases shall not extend to claims, demands, injuries, or damages which are unknown or unsuspected to exit at the time, to the person executing such leases, are hereby expressly waived. I hereby agree on behalf of my heirs, executor, administrators, and assigns to indemnify The Market on Dearborn jointly and severally, and hold harmless from and against any and all actions, claims, demands, and liabilities, loss, damages, and expense of whatever kind or nature, including attorney fees, which may at any time be incurred by reason of my participation in The Market on Dearborn Farmers Market or Special Event. It is further agreed and understood that said allowance of my participation in The Market on Dearborn Farmers Market or Special Event is not to be construed as an admission of any liability and acceptance of assumption of responsibility by The Market on Dearborn, its officers and members, jointly and severally, for all damages and expenses for which The Market on Dearborn, its officers and staff, jointly and severally, become liable as a result of any alleged act of the festival participant.
This completed application constitutes a “contract” between you, the applicant, and The Market on Dearborn.

I understand that I am responsible for selecting the corresponding dates within the pricing section.
- I AFFIRM THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS CONTRACT AND THE MARKET ON DEARBORN TERMS & CONDITIONS AND RULES & REGULATIONS AND UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS AND PURPOSES AND AGREE TO ALL OPERATIONS RULES AND REGULATIONS SET FORTH ABOVE AND TO PAY FOR ALL ASSESSED CHARGES.
