Food Vendor - CHAMBER MEMBER
About the application
Meridian Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for vendors at the 2024 Oktoberfest event on Saturday, October 5th. Hours of the event are 10am - 10pm - vendors are allowed in starting at 7:00 AM for setup. Vendor must stay until 9pm. Space is available to a limited number of vendors. Application does not guarantee acceptance. All vendors will be juried. Booth fee is $400 for a 10x10' space. Power will be available on a limited basis for an additional $100 fee. All food vendors will be required to obtain the necessary Idaho State Tax License, obtain a Central District Health Permit, and pay the appropriate taxes.
Vendor will be expected to have their booth completely set up and staffed no later than 9:55am. Event start time is 10am and all vehicles and set up equipment should be stored out of sight or returned to vehicles. Your booth is expected to be open for business from 10:00 AM till 9:00 PM.
Vendor fees this year will be:
Food & Beverage Vendor Fee: $400 Chamber Member Price
- This is a 10x10 space in the designated beer garden area of the Oktoberfest event.
- Inclusion in pre-event marketing including social media posts.
- Vendor is responsible for providing their own tables for food service and prep.
- Food vendors must provide a valid permit from Central District Health to serve food.
- Vendor must provide valid Idaho State Sales Tax Permit.
- Vendor must provide if they have a popup tent/ handcart/ food truck. If a food truck, vendors must provide dimensions.
- Beverages served by food vendors will be restricted to non-alcoholic beverages (other options are available for those wanting to serve alcoholic beverages and a different selection process applies)
Limited vendor spots available. Successful applicants will be contacted by the committee to complete the full vendor agreement and fees must be paid in advance of the event.
