About the application

This application is for food vendors only. This includes food trucks. Food/drink vendors may include any entrée/meal, snack foods, desserts, and/or nonalcoholic beverages. This does not include canned, baked and/or packaged goods. 
 
Submission of an application does not guarantee participation at the event. Vendor space is limited.

Terms & Conditions

RULES, REGULATIONS, & EVENT GUIDELINES
 
  • VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING EVENT SUPPLIES (CHAIRS, TABLES, TENTS, DROP CORDS, LIGHTING, GENERATORS, DECORATIONS, ETC.)
  • Vendors must leave the event area as it was found upon arrival
  • Utilize trash bins in the event area to dispose of any waste
  • Vendors must arrive during the specified set-up times provided (vendors arriving after the allowable time period will not be allowed to participate in the event)
  • Vendors must remain for the entirety of the event, unless written permission is provided by the Event Coordinator
  • Breaking down and removing items from the event can be dangerous to attendees and is prohibited
  • FOOD VENDORS MAY NOT DISPOSE OF COOKING GREASE/OIL IN/NEAR THE EVENT AREA
  • Improper disposal of grease into the street and/or storm drain system is considered an illicit discharge and is a violation of the Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination Ordinance
  • Any vendor improperly disposing grease may be subject to fines, required to clean up grease from affected areas, and will not be invited back to future City event
  • Vendor selections will be made on the basis of menu submitted as part of this application
  • Set-up must be complete by 4:00 PM
  • Vendors must be open for sales and service from 5:00-10:00 PM
  • Vendors must be self-contained for water, electricity, lighting, etc.
  • No electrical access will be provided
  • In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to continue the event
  • For a total wash-out prediction, vendors will be notified of cancellation by 12:00pm on event day
  • Food items must be stored appropriately inside truck
  • Participation is not confirmed until payment is received
  • Cancellations must be made a minimum of one week (7 days) prior to event to be refunded vendor fee
  • Vendors must complete the "Temporary Food Event Vendor Application," send to the Gaston County Health Department if accepted as a vendor
  • Vendors may be inspected at any time by the Health Department or Fire Marshall to ensure compliance
  • Vendor fees will not be refunded to any vendor found not to be in compliance and/or asked to discontinue sales
  • Vendor fees will not be refunded for any reason outside of event cancellation
