Terms and Conditions
1) Participants must be at least 18 years of age
2) A $40.00 non-refundable application fee is required at the time of application. Included in your application is an Individual Membership to LeMoyne Arts. If you are current member of LeMoyne at time of application, you may gift the membership to anyone of your choice (please indicate the recipient of this membership on the last page of this application.)
3) Important Dates 2021:
a. By applying, all accepted applicants understand that LeMoyne Arts has permission to use submitted images for promotional purposes.
b. Acceptance notifications and information on inventory submission will be emailed via Eventeny on Tuesday, October 5.
c. Completed inventory lists are due via Eventeny on Friday, October 8, final updates: Monday October 11 by 12p.m
d. Barcoded labels for your work will be available for pickup at LeMoyne on Tuesday, October 19 - Saturday, October 23.
e. Item drop-off is between 11:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2 – Saturday, November 6. If special arrangements are needed, please contact staff at holidays@lemoyne.org.
o Please check-in with a staff member to ensure all work is show-ready before leaving.
f. Unsold works must be picked up between 11:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m., Tuesday January 4, 2022 – Saturday, January 8, 2022. Artists will be responsible for removing and collecting their work from the displays. Due to limited storage space, LeMoyne Arts will not be responsible for items not picked up by Saturday, January 8, 2022. Unsold items not picked up by 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, will be considered a donation to LeMoyne unless other arrangements have been made in advance of the show.
4) LeMoyne reserves the right to reject work that does not meet the vision & goals of the Holiday Show for quality and diversity.
5) ART WORKS: Accepted artists should plan for the following:
a. All artwork must be for sale. We will not accept items listed “Not for Sale”
b. Items should be designed & priced for holiday gift giving. Please consider submitting items that are priced at a gift giving price point, usually between $25-$100.
c. Restocking will be done on a regular basis, so if your work sells well, please be prepared to provide more if possible.
d. Accepted artists are encouraged to provide a bio/artist statement, (100 words or less) & a 5X7 high resolution photo. Providing background information is a great way to boost sales. Either add to your Eventeny application or email the bio & photo to holidays@lemoyne.org
e. Trademarked or copyrighted images will not be accepted! (i.e.; college logos, Disney characters, etc.)
f. This is a family friendly show, LeMoyne reserves the right to reject inappropriate work.
g. Please package your work safely for drop-off with your name clearly marked and note any special care instructions. LeMoyne staff and volunteers will do their best to care for your artwork; however, in case of an accident, artists agree to hold LeMoyne Arts harmless in the event of loss or breakage.
6) Inventory lists MUST be sent to us electronically in Eventeny. Artists submitting handwritten, printed, scanned copies or other formats will be charged a $25 transcription fee.
7) Artists will be responsible for tagging their own works with LeMoyne Arts barcoded labels (available for pick up at LeMoyne on Thursday, November 4 – Saturday, November 6). Artists must use LeMoyne labels. Artists can attach a business card on the back/bottom of the piece.
8) Work will be accepted at:
LeMoyne Arts 125 N. Gadsden St. Tallahassee, FL 32301 during operational hours. Please park in front of LeMoyne using the street parking, not St. John’s parking lot across the street.
9) LeMoyne’s Consignment arrangement is a 60/40 split; the artist receives 60% of the sales price & LeMoyne receives 40%. Please keep in mind that LeMoyne is providing the venue, marketing, staffing, labor to set up and take down the show, paying merchant fees, accounting for sales and payments, providing packaging and staffing for extended open hours. Please note that LeMoyne Arts Members receive 10% discounts on purchases which is deducted from LeMoyne’s cut.
10) Artists must provide or complete a W-9 when submitting their inventory. You can complete the form attached to the Eventeny application or at: https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w-9
For your consideration, LeMoyne encourages artistic creation as well as practical pieces that can be used in the home. Examples of historically successful practical pieces: bottle stoppers, serving plates, wine bottle holders, eye glass cases, garden pieces, coasters, ornaments, throw pillows, etc.
