About the event

Alive in Roswell is a monthly family-friendly FREE festival held every 3rd Thursday evening (5:00 - 9:00p.m.) from July through October. The festival is held concurrently on Historic Canton Street, East Alley, and at the Historic Roswell Town Square. Free regular trolley service connects the venues. The festival features live music, food trucks, interactive vendors, kids’ games and entertainment, and enjoys participation from the many boutiques, small businesses and restaurants surrounding the venues. Hosted by the City of Roswell and made possible by presenting sponsors Gate City Brewing Company and Carl Black Buick GMC, this energizing festival offers unique opportunities for sponsors to highlight their businesses and their commitment to the community to thousands of residents and visitors.

About the application

This application is to be a vendor at our East Alley venue for Alive in Roswell 2021. The East Alley runs parallel to Canton St. and vendor spaces are within the parking lot. Please be aware of what venue you are applying to be a vendor. If you put in an application for the wrong venue, please submit a new application under the correct venue. There will be no moving of vendors from one venue to another for the duration of the festival season. To become an eligible vendor for Alive in Roswell 2021, the application form and additional COVID waiver must be completed and submitted for review. You will be contacted by a city event staff member if you are selected as a vendor. Applications will be considered based on the date received. Submitting this application does not guarantee acceptance into the festival.

Terms & Conditions

Vendors must provide their own: 1. One (1) 10X10 Tent with proper weights (no staking), unless otherwise authorized. If additional spaces is needed, please indicate what is needed. 2. Tables that fit within your booth perimeters, and chairs for you and your staff. 3. Generator – must be quiet in nature as to not to disturb other vendors, event or attendees. 4. Electricity is not offered or guaranteed. Please contact City Special Events staff to discuss. Items forgotten will not be provided by the City of Roswell. Application Process: Application Approval is based on the following: 1. Application submission date. 2. All applications are reviewed and approved by the City of Roswell’s Special Event office. 3. Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. 4. The City of Roswell’s Special Events office has control over the vendors/participants accepted to the festival and reserves the right to limit booths of similar type. 5. After application is received and reviewed, you will receive confirmation of your participation through email. 6. Payment for booth space will not be processed until the vendor is accepted. Payment must be received to secure a location. Booth fees are non-refundable. 7. Once payment is received you will have the opportunity to choose your location from the map (first come first served). 8. All decisions are FINAL. Please understand that we are unable to discuss acceptance or non-acceptance with vendors by telephone or email. 9. Vendor applications received after the application deadline may or may not be reviewed for acceptance to the festival. 10. The City of Roswell is not responsible for the loss or damage of merchandise. Applicants please read the following guidelines: 1. Vendors should check in with Special Events staff at the entrance of the East Alley via Canton St. beginning at 3 PM on each event date. 2. Set up may begin at 3 PM and take down must be complete by 9:30 PM. 3. The East Ally will be closed to vehicular traffic during this time and Canton St. closes to vehicular traffic at 5:30 PM. 4. All set up must be complete by start of event, 5 PM. 5. Although we ask you to break down beginning at 9:00, you will not be able to bring a car in or out of the event prior to the road reopening at 10pm. It is dangerous for us to try to get cars either in( for loading) or out of the event. We are happy to try to help you work on a plan for an easy breakdown, please email or call to discuss prior to the first event in April. 6. Vendors will be notified by an event staff or Police Officer when it is safe to drive in the event area. Driving in the event area before the road is open is prohibited and vendor will face possible exclusion from all future events. This is a safety precaution that we expect all of our vendors to abide by. 7. Festival is rain or shine. If weather becomes a factor, the event will not be canceled until the day of the event. You will be contacted by a city event staff member if there are changes or cancellations. 8. No-show/No-Call vendors will forfeit payment and will not be allowed back to the event after three (3) no-show/no-call occurrences. 9. Playing or projecting music is not allowed. Music for the event is provided by pre-approved talent. 10. Selling or serving alcohol without the necessary City of Roswell Alcoholic Beverage and Catering license is not permitted. 11. Designated booth spaces may not be relocated. 12. Designated areas may not be sublet or shared without preapproval. If a vendor is observed selling product(s) or sharing booth space that were not approved on the vendor application or by event staff, the vendor will be asked to stop immediately and will be considered in violation of the vendor agreement and face possible removal from the event. 13. No refunds or adjustments will be granted. 14. Vendor designated area should be left clean and free of trash upon event closure. 15. All vendors must show respect to the community “our customers” and the event staff. As a vendor you are now the image of Roswell and bad behavior, violence, harassment, rude or disrespectful behavior is grounds for immediate removal from the event, loss of vendor payment and a police escort if deemed necessary. Liability waiver and release: Liability Waiver and Release: I, hereby assume all responsibility for, and risks and hazards of, participation in the rental activity planned by my group. In considerations of the City of Roswell providing permission to use the space requested, I, and all members of my rental group, do hereby release the City of Roswell, including all officials, officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, supervisors, volunteers, participants, and all other agents, of any and all claims, demands, rights, and causes of action of whatever kind and nature, arising from and by reason of, and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, bodily and personal injuries, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from participation in the rental activity planned in the City of Roswell. By reading this information and submitting this vendor application, you are agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers for Alive in Roswell 2021 and made a part hereof by reference. Any violation of these guidelines will result in forfeiture of the designated area without refund.
