The launch of "Second Sundays," a new monthly event dedicated to showcasing local artists, artisans, makers, musicians, and poets, promises to transform the village into a thriving arts destination. Building on the success of its annual "Art Crawl" event, "Second Sundays" will occur on the second Sunday of every month. The initiative aims to foster a deeper connection to the arts and provide a platform for the Tri-state area's talented creatives. This program underscores a commitment to driving positive socioeconomic change within the community. "Second Sundays" is made possible through the generous support of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, Farmingdale BID, and additional private sponsors. We welcome you to 'SECOND SUNDAYS' hosted in Downtown Farmingdale every Second Sunday of 2024 starting June 9th, 2024! 
 
Mission + Vision: Our mission for ‘Second Sundays’ is to transform Farmingdale into a vibrant arts hub, celebrating creativity and fostering community connection through accessible and engaging artistic experiences. It is meant to empower artists and creators by providing a recurring platform to showcase their talents, connect with audiences, and contribute to a thriving cultural landscape in Farmingdale.
 
While we envision 'Second Sundays' to be recognized as a premier platform for emerging and established artists in the region, fostering a sustainable and supportive creative ecosystem within Farmingdale.While positioning Farmingdale as a must-visit arts and culture destination, driving economic growth for local businesses and the overall vibrancy of the community.

EVENT TIME:  12 - 4PM
 
LOCATION: FARMINGDALE MAIN STREET - HUB LOCATION WILL BE AT THE NUTTY IRISHMAN

The vendor fee for Second Sundays is per day. Please only select the dates you are looking to participate in.
 
RAIN DATE: Event series will not hold rain dates as it consistent for the next 8 months. Vendors are able to transfer their participation fee to any other month in the 'Second Sundays' event calendar.
 
Farmingdale Village will implement a partial closure of Main Street by suspending street parking during our event hours. This measure is designed to provide additional space on the sidewalks, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.
 
Please note that all event dates are operating during the original scheduled times of 12-4PM. 
ONLY SELECT THE DATES THAT YOU ARE LOOKING TO PARTICIPATE IN AND YOU CAN ADJUST THE QUANTITY AT CHECKOUT. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT VENDOR FEE IS PER DAY AND WILL BE ADJUSTED IF MULTIPLE DATES ARE SELECTED.

If you do not find the category your business belongs to, please refer back to our website at coloredcolors.com/second-sundays . There are a total of two applications available for this event.
Vendor Space: Each craft business will receive a space that measures 6FT wide x 4FT in depth. Vendor spaces will be curated throughout Main Street in front of participating businesses. Locations will be decided internally and vendors will not be able to change spaces during the event.

As an independent for-profit business, your vendor fee also contributes to the support of:
  • Staffing
  • Independent musicians
  • Media coverage
  • Community-wide marketing efforts
  • Advocacy for the Arts & Culture sector
  • Independent public arts projects
Colored Colors does not receive any state or county funding for our programs. Your support goes a long way and allows us to foster inclusive and innovative Arts & Culture programs within our communities. 
 
Is my application accepted right away?
 
All applications will be reviewed within 24 hours of receipt. Your card will only be charged if your application is approved, and there is no fee for submitting an application. Upon acceptance, you will receive an email notification containing further details about the event.
 
Vendor fee will increase in price by $20 after the original submission deadline of April 14th, 2024 11:59PM. Late fees are non-negotiable as we try to be proactive with the organization of our event. 
 
PLEASE NOTE: All communication will be conducted through EVENTENY. We recommend downloading the mobile application if you haven't already.
 
The following factors will automatically trigger a rejection for your application:
  • Vendor no-shows to prior Colored Colors events
  • Rude or negative communication with our staff
  • Issued a chargeback to our accounts
  • Violated community guidelines

Terms & Conditions

Colored Colors is not liable or responsible for any accidents or incidents that occur while vendors or patrons are within limits of the event. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged goods. You are welcomed to inquire about temporary event insurance with our team. 
 
In addition each vendor holds responsibility and liability for their own products and space.
 
Colored Colors is not responsible for any sales that the vendor must make. We do not take any commission of your sales after the vendor fee is paid. Lack of sales will not be a valid reason for a refund or credit. 
 
We take responsibility in marketing this event through all our socials, community partners and within other outlets throughout our community. Our priority is to provide an excellent experience to our participants and patrons. 
 
REFUND POLICIES
 
Rain Date Policy:
  •  Event series will not hold rain dates as it consistent for the next 8 months. Vendors are able to transfer their participation fee to any other month in the 'Second Sunday' event calendar.
  • No refunds will be provided if the vendor is unable to participate in the additional scheduled dates.
  • Vendor credit will be valid for 2025 Second Sundays season as well. 
Full Cancellation:
  • In case of a full cancellation due to a proven accident, riot, strike, epidemic, forces of nature, or any other legitimate condition beyond our control, the event will be postponed.
  • Vendors will receive a FULL CREDIT valid for one full year from the cancellation date.
Last Minute Cancellation:
  • In the event of a last-minute cancellation, the reason will be reviewed by our team.
  • Depending on the decision, the vendor may receive a 50% credit, valid for one full year from the cancellation date.
Credit Exceptions:
  • Credits may have exceptions for some events based on different contractual agreements with our partners.

Once you have signed your name at the end of this application you are agreeing to all of our Terms & Conditions which include our Refund Policies starting January 1st, 2024. All these changes have been made due to multitude of incidents in 2023 and the inconsistency in weather that caused much distraught with our planning. We are diligently working to ensure clear communication and the best overall experience. We look forward to the opportunity to work with all of you.

SEASON PASS - ALL DATES (SAVE 25%) $500 (+ tax and fees) Non-refundable Sign up for our 'Second Sundays' season pass to save 25% and receive an option for a 3 month installment plan! Vendor has option to pay in full or opt-in to payment plan. Payment plan will begin after submission is approved. No credits or additional discount can be applied to this tier.
