About the application

For 11 years, the Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC) has sponsored a three-day art fair in the beautiful residential and resort community of Sunriver, Oregon. This year, we are excited to add our first annual Virtual Sunriver Art Fair to be held from August 13 to September 26. We want to support artists through an online marketplace that expands opportunities beyond in-person events that may have artist and buyer attendance restrictions due to Covid. HISTORY OF SUNRIVER ART FAIR In summer the resort draws over 20,000 visitors to the area. The Sunriver Art Fair has grown in size and attendance, and has been voted the Top Small Town Art Fair in America. The fair enjoys a loyal following of art lovers through our website and social media. Our artists consistently comment on the great care the organizers give them. Sunriver is the Pacific Northwest’s premier destination resort and residential community, as well as Central Oregon’s year-round base camp for adventure, group retreats, and family fun. The resort community is shared by visitors and full-time residents with high incomes and a taste for art. During the art fair, the Sunriver Music Festival brings world class musicians to the area with concerts throughout the summer. The Sunriver Art Fair taps into this demand for fine art. All proceeds from fair applications and booth fees help support nonprofits in south Deschutes County. All proceeds support our philanthropy efforts. Since 2000, the SRWC has distributed over $750,000 in cash and goods to organizations that provide essential services to women, children, families, and seniors, as well as educational opportunities for the community. Learn more about our philanthropy at sunriverartfair.org. 2021 VIRTUAL SUNRIVER ART FAIR We plan to provide the same excellent support and care for our Virtual Art Fair exhibitors that we give our on-site artists, including great advertising on both print and social media, promotions to drive buyers to artist stores, and support as needed for artists new to the Eventeny platform. For this first year we have set a low application fee of $35; the shop fee is only $50, and we take no percentage of sales. The fair is organized and run by volunteers, and the proceeds help fund a community grant program assisting local services to improve the lives of our neighbors. All net proceeds support our philanthropy efforts. Since 2000, the SRWC has distributed over $750,000 in cash and goods to organizations that provide essential services to women, children, families, and seniors, as well as educational opportunities for the community.
