About the event

Seattle Waterfront Marketplace is an indoor daily market for artisans, artists, craftsmen, and creators to sell their wares and connect with visitors to the waterfront community. Located at 1400 Alaskan Way, directly across from Pier 58, the Big Wheel, and the Aquarium, the marketplace is FREE and open to the public 7 days a week from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

About the application

Welcome to the Seattle Waterfront Marketplace! 
 
The indoor marketplace will be open to the public 7 days a week from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Vendors are required to be set up and ready for business at market open and must remain in the stall until market close. Any exception to this requirement must be approved in advance by Seattle Waterfront Marketplace management. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the forfeit of daily stall fees and revocation of stall permit.
 
VENDING SPACE /STALL: each vendor space 7 or 8 feet (depending upon location). Some stalls will also have back wall space. If wall space is needed for display purposes it should be noted on the application. Power source provided.  
 
SETUP: setup will run from 10am - 11am. 
 
BREAKDOWN: breakdown is from 5pm - 6pm and can begin anytime after marketplace close (5pm)
 
LOADING DOCK is available in front of the building
 
PUBLIC STORAGE is located next door for anyone interested in storing wares. Storage prices may vary – please check with facility for availability and cost. 
 
PARKING ample parking available around the waterfront area, including early-bird

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before submitting your application. By submitting your application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
 
1. Application Submission:
 
  • By submitting your application, you agree to provide accurate and complete information to the best of your knowledge.
  • You understand that submission of the application does not guarantee acceptance as a vendor.
2. Eligibility:
 
  • Vendors must meet the eligibility criteria specified in the application guidelines to be considered for acceptance.
  • Applications from vendors who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered.
3. Evaluation Process:
 
  • All applications will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined in the application guidelines.
  • The decision of the evaluation committee will be final and binding.
4. Confidentiality:
 
  • All information provided in the application will be treated as confidential and will only be used for the purpose of evaluating the application.
  • We will not disclose any confidential information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
5. Intellectual Property:
 
  • By submitting your application, you grant us the right to review and evaluate any intellectual property included in the application for the purpose of evaluating the application.
  • We will not use or disclose your intellectual property without your consent, except as required by law.
6. Data Protection:
 
  • We will handle any personal data provided in the application in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • By submitting your application, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of evaluating the application.
7. Acceptance and Rejection:
 
  • We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion, without providing any reason.
  • We are not obligated to provide any feedback or explanation for the rejection of an application.
8. Modifications:
 
  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
9. Governing Law:
 
  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The City of Seattle and King County.
  • Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The City of Seattle and King County.

Prices

Application fees $0 Non-refundable Non-refundable application fee.
Permit fee $75 Non-refundable ONE TIME permit fee for accepted applicants. Valid May 20, 2024 through October 20, 2024. Only accepted applicants will be charged a permit fee.
Daily Stall Fee: Monday-Thursday $25 Non-refundable Discounted WEEKDAY stall fee is $25/day
Daily Stall Fee: Friday-Sunday $75 Non-refundable WEEKEND stall fee is $75/day

  • Minimum pictures required: 3
  • Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at Seattle Waterfront Marketplace. To help us evaluate your application, please submit 3-5 photos of your work. Photos should be clear, well-lit, and accurately represent your work. Blurry or low-quality images may affect the evaluation of your application. Include a variety of photos showcasing different types of wares you create. This will give us a comprehensive understanding of your artistic style and range of products. If possible, provide close-up shots that highlight the fine details and craftsmanship of your work. Try to choose a clean and neutral background for your photos to avoid distractions and ensure your craftsmanship remains the focal point.
