It’s no surprise that Canadian artists lead the way by interpreting and redefining the diverse natural beauty we see around us everyday. Leslie Grove Gallery – Where Artists Flourish. The Artists’ Network is pleased to be settled into its new permanent home at 1158 Queen Street East, previously known as Leslie Grove Field House. Located on the corner of Jones and Queen Street East, in Leslie Grove Park, we are thrilled to be able to provide exhibition space within the Leslieville and Riverside communities and are lookin forward to expanding into mentoring opportunities and community events. Our Mandate: To empower artists through education and a range of diverse and inclusive exhibition opportunities. Leslie Grove Gallery is committed to amplifying the voices within creative communities that may otherwise go unheard. Leslie Grove Gallery (formerly the Artists’ Network Gallery) is the latest initiative of the Artists’ Network offering accessible space for artists’ to exhibit their work by participating in group shows or private gallery rental. It is home to the Artists’ Network administrative office where we often host education seminars, committee and board meetings, and plan Riverdale ArtWalk and ArtWalk in the Square. About the application

ONLINE Zoom Virtual Reception: To Be Confirmed Landscape Art remains one of the oldest and most popular genres, continuing to thrive even into the 21st century. It’s no surprise that Canadian artists lead the way by interpreting and redefining the diverse natural beauty we see around us everyday. Whether impressionist or contemporary, abstracted or urban, the Artists’ Network invites all members and non-members, to submit their best original 2D or 3D artworks in any medium and size that describe your sense of place and expand our definition of it. Notification: Selected artists will be notified on or before Friday, April  23, 2021.

Terms & Conditions

Open Call Up to 3 artworks per artists Fee: - Member: $35 + HST - Non-Member: $50 + HST Submission fee is non-refundable. As this is a juried show, not all submissions will be accepted. Commission: The gallery retains 20% on all work sold through the webstore. Artists are responsible for coordinating delivery/shipping/pick-up of any sold art as the show is online only. GUIDELINES FOR A SUCCESSFUL SUBMISSION: Make sure to follow ALL submission guidelines. Quality images are extremely important, especially as we move into online spaces.Always put your best foot forward. Submissions should be cohesive in medium, style, and subject. Most importantly, try to approach the call from a unique point of view - think outside the box. Originality is heavily weighted.  Please note that the jurying process considers the exhibition as a whole, with the intention of offering a variety of styles, materials, and approaches. All decisions on the suitability of art to be displayed made by the Artists’ Network or its representatives are final. All art must be suitable for installation. ARTIST'S NETWORK MEMBER Application Fee C$ 40 Non-refundable Submission fee: Members: up to 3 artworks $35.00 + HST* = $39.55 *Submission fee is non-refundable, it underwrites our overhead to review each submission. As this is a juried show, not all submissions will be accepted.
NON MEMBER Application fees C$ 57 Non-refundable Non Member Submission Fee: $50 + HST = $56.50 *Submission fee is non-refundable, it underwrites our overhead to review each submission. As this is a juried show, not all submissions will be accepted.
