Terms & Conditions

Persons or groups setting up booths to display or sell merchandise agree to comply with the following:

  1. All booth locations are final. We are 100% volunteer-run, so please be respectful of the time and effort that has gone into choosing your space - your support is appreciated!

  2. There is no booth sharing permitted unless permission is pre-approved by the Bay View Bash vendor committee before August 15. Booth spaces will be sent out prior to the day of. Both vendors will have to provide the proper documentation.

  3. All vendors who are selling items must submit their State of Wisconsin Seller's Permit number to the Bash. This includes both businesses who are pre-approved to share a booth--one business cannot supply the Seller's Permit number to cover another business within the same booth.

  4. Booth spaces will not be guaranteed unless you are a business on KK ave between Potter and Clement (on the direct Bash premises).

  5. All booth operators can head directly to their space upon arrival. All numbers will be marked on the ground and members of our vendor committee will come around to check you in. Unless you are having a hard time finding your space, please do not come check in - we will come to you!

  6. NO CARS will be admitted on the streets within the festival boundaries after 10:15 AM.

  7. Please be set up by 10:45 AM. Booths must close by 10:00 PM.

  8. All booth operators provide their own tables, chairs, lights, tents, canopies and display items. Booth spaces are 10′ x 10′. Your space will be marked with your booth number.

  9. All booths must display a sign with the name of the organization, business, or person represented.

  10. You are responsible for cleaning up your booth space. We’ll provide you with a garbage bag when you register on festival day. Any trash left behind in your area will result in a $25.00 cleaning fee.

  11. If you require electricity through us you must supply your own 100 foot, 12 gauge, heavy-duty, three-pronged extension cord. We ask for this length because your outlet may not be close by. Remember, we only supply 20 amp service.

  12. We encourage you to bring your own canopy in order to stay cool or keep dry, as the case may be. If you have a booth with a canopy, you must supply your own fire extinguisher due to City of Milwaukee fire regulations. If you decide to bring a canopy, please make sure that it has weights.

  13. The playing of any loud electronic music at your booth site is not permitted since it violates our city’s noise permit requirements for the festival.

  14. Selling silly string, party poppers, snap dragons or any other novelty items that leave trash behind will not be permitted. The bash is a eco-friendly and we would like to keep the streets clean. Selling anything other than those items previously agreed upon by the Bay View Bash Committee is not permitted. If you are found to be in violation, your booth will be closed.

  16. All vendors are required to follow all city and state ordinances regarding their merchandise or product distribution. You are responsible for your own liability insurance and must produce proof of same upon request. All health department permits must be properly displayed.

  17. If you desire to participate in a non-booth capacity, but want to use the festival area to promote your product, business, or merchandise, you must still submit a vendor application and remit payment for a space. You will receive the same promotional coverage as booth owners.

  18. The festival is a rain-or-shine event. We regret that in the event of bad weather there will be no refunds.
