About the event

The colorful parade steps off in the Uptown Design District at Tachevah and Palm Canyon Dr. and travels south through downtown, ending at the entrance to the Pride Festival at Amado. ​ Palm Springs Pride Parade Sun, Nov 3, 2024 Parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. ​ Known for its crystal blue skies and year-round sunshine, the city of Palm Springs comes alive during the annual Pride celebration. Thousands of spectators will gather along palm tree-lined streets to cheer and support local organizations, activists, and themed floats along historic Palm Canyon Dr. The parade is expected to last two hours. ​ Enjoy emcee commentary as parade contingents pass by official reviewing stands: • The Parade Stage, located at Granvia Valmonte and N. Palm Canyon Drive • Broadcast reviewing stand is near Eight4Nine Restaurant & Lounge at 849 N. Palm Canyon Drive. Host and emcee Nicholas Snow. • The Deaf Pride reviewing stand is north of Amado Road at N. Palm Canyon Drive and features sign language interpretation. Seating is available for the Deaf community on a first-come-first-served basis.

Prices

First Half Placement $2,500 Non-refundable You must have at least one entry unit in order to purchase this item. Add one "First Half Placement" item to your shopping cart to guarantee your parade contingent is placed in the first half of the parade. This portion of your registration is a tax-deductible donation. 100% of all fees collected help cover the cost of the parade, which is expected to be $60,000 this year.
First Quarter Placement - VIP $4,500 Non-refundable You must have at least one entry unit in order to purchase this item. Add one "First Quarter Placement" item to your shopping cart to guarantee your parade contingent is placed in the first quarter of the parade. This portion of your registration is a tax-deductible donation. 100% of all fees collected help cover the cost of the parade, which is expected to be $60,000 this year.
Marching Unit $425 Non-refundable You should plan for a maximum of 100 people in your contingent. If you have a vehicle, you can select Additional Vehicle and add it to your order.
Float $500 Non-refundable This entry includes self-contained units and floats being pulled by another vehicle. Both the float and towing vehicle are permitted. 14' height max. 50 length and 10 ' width.
Decorated Car (max 6 vehicles total per entry) $250 Non-refundable 20' maximum length, 14 feet maximum height. Cars will only have impact in the Parade if they come with a personality or are cleverly themed and decorated. If your vehicle exceeds these dimensions, you will need to select Decorated Over 20' or Decorated Truck and Trailer.
Additional Vehicle (max 6 vehicles total per entry) $100 Non-refundable You must have at least one entry unit in order to purchase this item. This item allows you to add an additional vehicle to your contingent. There is no limit to the permitted number of additional vehicles. But remember, each vehicle needs to be decorated. After all, this is a Pride parade! Be creative and make your cars stand out.
Pickup / Van (max 6 vehicles total per entry) $300 Non-refundable Be sure to decorate your entry so it does not look drab. This is a Pride parade. Create your design to transform the truck shape into something new and exciting. Bring out the colors! Add Music and make it fun!
Decorated Truck and Trailer (max 6 vehicles total per entry) $325 Non-refundable This category is for decorated entries over 24 feet in length and 14 feet in maximum height. Trailers under 10’ can be too dangerous to carry people if being towed by a vehicle. Large flatbed / hay wagons are great foundations to build on.
Stake Bed Truck (max 6 vehicles total per entry) $450 Non-refundable This category is for decorated entries over 20 feet in length.14 feet maximum height.
Decorated Unit Over 24' Long (max 6 vehicles total per entry) $400 Non-refundable This category is for decorated entries over 20 feet in length that are not a float, stake bed truck, or pickup and trailer. Entry has a 14 feet maximum height.
Tractor Trailer - 18 Wheeler $1,500 Non-refundable If you are placing a semi in the parade, please contact our office so we can make the appropriate arrangements and review the entry with you.
Golf Cart $125 Non-refundable Golf carts are a great way to showcase your business or organization or just have fun in the parade. They are fun to decorate, and they are a natural with all the golf courses in the desert.
Motorcycle / Bike Unit / E-bike $50 Non-refundable There is a maximum of 6 motorcycles per entry. No max for bicycle or E-bike per entry. Insurance / Driver's License not required for E-bike or bicycles. Motorcycles on parade day - Be sure to carry your valid Driver's License and proof of liability insurance covering property damage and physical injuries to others. If you are using a bicycle, shoe clamps are highly discouraged.
Animal Unit (horses and unicorns not household pets) $425 Non-refundable This does not apply to household pets. Must provide clean up for all waste created by animals. Only one entry is required for up to 20 animals. Equestrian groups and individual riders must have proof of equestrian insurance.
