About the application

Albany Pride Festival is pleased to present the opportunity for local drag performance artists to be compensated for their performances at Albany Pride. We know many times local performers are not compensated a flat rate and rely solely on tips or splitting of event cover fees. Albany Pride has budgeted to compensate 8 local drag performers, both returning and new at the rate of $350 each.
 
There are additional opportunities for uncompensated performance arts during the Queer & Gender Diverse Variety show as well.
 
We're looking forward to approving multiple kinds of performances that reflect queer, trans, and othe intersecting cultural life experiences and talents. Please keep in mind that Albany Pride is a free daytime event that allows all ages to attend when planning for your performance.
