Welcome to the "Taste of Dania Beach" event application portal for local craft vendors and businesses! This event provides a wonderful platform for artisans and entrepreneurs to engage with the community, display their handcrafted goods, and be part of a cherished local tradition that celebrates the artistic and entrepreneurial spirit of Dania Beach.
Who Should Apply
We are seeking a variety of craft vendors and local businesses that can offer unique, high-quality, and handmade products to our attendees. Whether you specialize in handmade jewelry, artisanal crafts, local art, sustainable goods, or any other unique creations, we invite you to apply for a space at this esteemed community event.
Application Details
Space Availability: Spaces for craft vendors are limited, and selection will be based on product uniqueness, quality, and creativity.
Requirements: Applicants must comply with all local business regulations and have any necessary permits or licenses.
Event Participation: Selected vendors are expected to provide a range of items showcasing their craftsmanship and to contribute to the event's atmosphere of diversity and creativity.
What We Provide
Location: A designated space for your stall or setup within the event area.

Support: Inclusion in event-related marketing and promotional efforts, driving attendees to the craft vendor area.
How to Apply
To apply for a craft vendor space at the "Taste of Dania Beach," please submit the following information:
Business and contact details of your craft business or stall.
A brief description of your business, including the types of products you offer and any unique features or specialties.
Details of previous event participation and experience, if applicable.
Any required permits or licenses related to your craft or business.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the event committee, with selections based on the criteria of product originality, aesthetic appeal, and the overall contribution to the diversity of the event’s offerings.
Please submit your application by April 20th. Selected participants will be notified by April 30th and will receive further instructions and details about event participation.

Terms & Conditions

Vendors must be set up 1 hour prior to the announced opening time. 
NO vendors will be allowed to set up unless full payment has been received. 
An application is a commitment to the show; however, refunds will be made for cancellation if received in 
writing to avlasic@daniabeachfl.gov before March 25, 2024.  
There are no refunds on deposits or cancellations of the event due to rain or acts of nature. 
You must adhere to hours for the event Saturday, April 13 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Early breakdown will result in exclusion from ANY future City of Dania Beach events. 
Tents must be 10' x 10' in good condition, and tents must use weights as no stakes are allowed. Include a photo of your booth or product for placement. 
Set-up is from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED BY 5:00 PM. 
Further details regarding rules and complete instructions will be e-mailed to all exhibitors accepted to the event. 
You, your staff, and your booth must remain neat, clean, and orderly. Conduct and displays must be appropriate. 
No garbage/boxes/etc. maybe in view. All boxes must be broken down before discarding. 
Vendors are responsible for having appropriate licenses and collecting sales tax (if applicable). 
No handmade signs are allowed. If using tables, make sure they are properly covered. No Styrofoam or plastic is 
allowed in City parks. 
The event staff and the City of Dania Beach will not be liable for any losses or damages at your booth/truck.  
Only items listed and approved on this application will be allowed to be sold at the event. 
IF you play music, the volume must be at a level allowing the adjacent vendors, staff members, and the public to conduct business in a normal voice. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of booth space. 
The City of Dania Beach reserves the right to reject or accept any vendor. 
Each company/organization participating as a Special Events Vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless, the City of Dania Beach and all sponsors from all claims, liabilities, costs, expenses, and damages which may result from the operation of their concession. 
Participants in concessions will refrain from consuming & selling alcoholic beverages while working.
 
I am entering into a contract to participate in the City of Dania Beach Special Event on May 11, 2024. I agree to all management's rules and regulations. I understand this contract will be legally binding between the two parties once the application has been accepted. Vendors should insure their own exhibit and display materials. The City of Dania Beach does not and will not assume liability for theft, injury, or any other accident that may occur during the event to visitors or vendors. I, on behalf of the Vendor, do hereby knowingly, freely, and voluntarily assume all liability for any damage or injury that may occur as a result of the Vendor's participation in event(s) to be held at a Broward County park(s), and agree to release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Broward County, its current and former officers, agents, employees, and volunteers (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any liability or claims 
for damage or injury that may be sustained by the Vendor, its officers, employees, or agents, or any third party directly or indirectly in conjunction with, or arising out of, the Vendor's participation in the event(s). I, on behalf of the Vendor, further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all causes of action, demands, claims, losses, liabilities, and expenditures of any kind, including attorneys' fees, court costs, and expenses (collectively, a “Claim”), raised or alleged to be caused, in whole or in part, by any intentional, reckless, or negligent act or omission of the Vendor, its current or former officers, employees, agents, or servants, arising from, relating to, or in connection with the Vendor's use of any Broward County park(s) or participation in the event(s). Contractor is an independent contractor providing these contracted services to Purchaser.
