About the application

Kansas City Irish Fest will take place Sept 3-5 at Crown Center and Washington Square Park. Food vendors must operate all hours of the festival and be available for set up as early as Thursday, Sept. 2nd. You must have a Kansas City, MO Health Department yearly permit, or apply and receive a temporary permit in order to operate at the festival. Please note this is an application only. Accepted vendors will be notified no later than July 15th. Once accepted to Kansas City Irish Fest and you choose to participate your credit card or echeck will be charged. You will have a week to accept your spot. Vendors are selected based on variety of menu, overall look of set up, and festival and event experience. Please note their are three price structures, Food booths on the square or Grand, Washington Park Booth Space, or Single Item Booth Space. Please note Grand street and the square are for previous vendors only, and new vendors will only be considered if space is available. Single item refers to those vendors that sell one type of item, such as ice cream, popcorn, snow cones, etc. ****Please note, no vendors can sell beverages of any kind. All beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic are exclusively sold by Kansas City Irish Fest.

Terms & Conditions

* Vendors must report 10% of their sales by Monday, Sept 12th to KCIF (if applicable). Failure to do so could result in you not be invited back for 2021. * Vendors will be allowed a 10-foot-wide banner, not to exceed 24 inches in height, to be hung in front of the vendors’ booth. * Vendors will supply to KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST a list of all items intended for sale at the festival. KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST has the right to disallow any item or items from being available at the festival. * There will be designated areas for food & beverage booths.. Booth placement will be determined based on menu items sold. KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST will decide booth placement. You MUST adhere to load in and load out times * KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST will take place rain or shine and all fees are nonrefundable. * Each vendor will be given eight “Vendor Passes” for the purpose of permitting staff to gain entrance to the festival grounds. * Vendors will be expected to have their booths completely set-up at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the festival each day. In you vendor packet that we send out in August we will go over load in dates and instructions * Exhibitors will be told of drop-off sites for loading and unloading their wares, and also locations to park their vehicles during the event. No vehicles will be allowed on festival grounds during operational hours. * Vendors will be allowed to sell their items only to persons on the festival grounds. * Vendors are NOT ALLOWED to bring in alcoholic beverages. Vendors will comply with all local, city, and state health and liquor control rules and regulations. Vendors will supply all necessary items, etc., to accomplish these goals, including but not limited to fire extinguishers. * Grease disposal is the responsibility of vendor and must be disposed properly, in accordance with Health Department and EPA standards. If we find that you have disposed of grease anywhere on KC Irish Fest grounds you will NOT be allowed back for 2021. * Vendors are asked to respect Crown Center and Washington Square Grounds . Please place temporary flooring if using grease or other products that can leave marks on the grounds. * KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST will provide trash removal throughout the event. Vendors are responsible for the condition and cleanliness of their site during festival hours and after teardown. Site condition and cleanliness will be factors in determining vendor participation in 2022. * All beverage sales will be handled exclusively by the Kansas City Irish Fest bars. Vendors will not be allowed to sell beverages of any kind, only food * Food vendors CANNOT except tokens. KCIF will not reimburse you for any tokens collected. Tokens are for use at KC Irish Fest bars only. * INSURANCE – All vendors must provide KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST with certificate of insurance that lists KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST as additionally insured under a $1 million general liability insurance policy. Email mary@oneillevents.com * KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST will provide each vendor with power. Food vendors MUST provide all electrical needs to the festival. There will be a charge for power exceeding 20 AMP and 110 V * Vendors must follow all COVID guidelines put in place by the Kansas City Irish Fest. Kansas City Irish Fest will follow the guidance of the KCMO Health Department. More information will be sent closer to the festival.

Prices

10 x 10 Tent Rental $200 Non-refundable If you need Kansas City Irish Fest to provide you with a 10 x 10 frame tent please select this option along with the booth space.
15 x 15 or 10 x 20 tent rental $300 Non-refundable If you need Kansas City Irish Fest to provide you with a 10 x 20 or 15 x 15 frame tent please select this option.
Grand Blvd or CC Square Food Vendor Space $750 Non-refundable Fee is $750 plus 10% of gross sales. $750 is due within one week of acceptance to the festival. 10% will be due by September 13th. If you need a tent or electricity please also click the electricity and tent buttons below.
Washington Park Food Vendor Booth $750 Non-refundable Fee is $750. $750 is due within one week of acceptance to the festival. 1 If you need a tent or electricity please also click the electricity and tent buttons below.
Single Item Food Vendor Space $500 Non-refundable Fee is $500 plus 10% of gross sales unless in the park. $500 is due within one week of acceptance to the festival. 10% if in the park will be due by September 13th. If you need a tent or electricity please also click the electricity and tent buttons below. This is for booths that just mainly sell one low price point item like popcorn, ice cream, snow cones etc.
Electricity - over 20 AMPS $60 Non-refundable All food vendors must use Boulevardia's electricity. We have professional electricians available onsite. There is a flat fee of $60 if you use more than 20 AMPS of power.
