About the event

At the 9th annual Phoenix Pizza Festival, local pizza makers sell all types of pizza slices, full pies and other unique pizza inspired creations. Other foods will also be available like pasta, meatballs, french fries and a variety of desserts. The event also features performances by some of Phoenix's best local bands, plus lawn games,  local market vendors, kid's activities, and more. Bars will offer a selection of wine, beer, cocktails and N/A beverages. All tickets are General Admission, and all food/drink items cost extra once inside. The event takes place at Margaret T. Hance Park (east side) in downtown Phoenix. Proceeds benefits Downtown Phoenix, Inc. It is the mission of the Phoenix Pizza Festival to provide a signature community event for downtown Phoenix and become an annual celebration of the most perfect food ever - PIZZA! This event sells out every year. We highly recommend purchasing tickets online before they do. Tickets will not be available to purchase at the gate.

PIZZA VENDOR REQUIREMENTS
- All Pizza Vendors are required to offer a by-the-slice option priced at $6 or less. 
- All food vendors are required to carry and provide proof of appropriate state / city / county business licensing, health permits and insurance. 
-All vendors are responsible for providing items and staffing needed to operate onsite including but not limited to - tents, tables, cooking equipment, serving utensils, sanitation, point of sale / bank etc. 
 
HEALTH/FOOD SERVICE PERMIT:
You must have a current mobile food, catering or temporary food establishment permit to participate.

INSURANCE CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT:
Please request a certificate for the following from your insurer and attach to the application or send to lisa@phxfest.com at least 30 days prior to the event.
We will require an insurance certificate showing a minimum of 1 Million Liability Coverage with the following listed as additionally insured:

PHX FEST VENDOR RULES & GUIDELINES
VENDOR ACCEPTANCE
Vendor Applications, non‐refundable registration fee, and all supporting documentation must be submitted by October 1st. PHX Fest is not responsible for applications that do not include the necessary documentation.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the event. Due to the limited space, vendor selection will be based on products/services, completion of paperwork, and payment.
PHX Fest staff reserves the right to limit the number of vendors in all categories. Application fees will be refunded to any vendor not approved.
Vendors may not share a booth with another business, unless pre-approved.
All vendors collecting payment for products or services at the event must hold a current City of Phoenix Tax Privilege License.
All vendors are required to carry appropriate licensing and permits for Maricopa County, City of Phoenix, and State of Arizona.

BOOTH REQUIREMENTS
Exclusivity is not guaranteed to any vendor.
Booth space is not reserved until payment is received.
Booth locations for each vendor are strategically assigned by festival staff. Vendor locations are non-negotiable.
Vendors are responsible for providing all necessary items to operate this includes tents, tables, serving items and point of sale system. 
Vendors are responsible for setup and teardown of all signage, tents, tables, and equipment.
You may use only your assigned space.
Vehicles are NOT allowed to drive into the event site for load-in/out. You must come prepared with appropriate staff and dolly/handcart to bring your items into the park.
All vendors will receive a confirmation letter regarding load‐in/out times.
In an eff­ort to protect your space and maintain cleanliness of the event, any vendor not staffing their booth for the duration of the event will be fined $100.
Vendors are responsible for taking their own trash to the dumpster provided by the festival. Any vendor who leaves trash at their space is subject to a fine of up to $200.

ADDITIONAL TERMS & WAIVER OF LIABILITY
PHX Fest participants and their employees are expected to serve as a positive representation of the festival and abide by all rules set forth by the festival producers (PHX Fest, LLC). At no time should vendors engage in any illegal activities. Any vendor found engaging in illegal activities or activities in violation of the rules stated above can be fined and/or immediately removed from the festival.
 
PHX Fest employees, related festival providers and participating sponsors will not be responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur to the vendor, its employees or property prior to, during or subsequent to the period covered by the vending contract. The vendor signing this contract expressly releases all of the aforementioned parties from any and all claims from such loss, damage or injury.
 
PHX Fest is grateful for the support of our sponsors. All vendors are expected to work with our sponsors and follow contract specifications when applicable. This event will be photographed and/or videotaped. By participation in this event, you hereby consent to the use of your likeness or image in those photographs or video for future promotional consideration by PHX Fest.

POWER ACCESS & SUPPORT $150 Non-refundable Please note: The festival and contracted power service supplier are not responsible for damages or issues with any vendors equipment. Power will only be supplied to the specific equipment and specifications for the equipment which is communicated in advance, in writing and with photos as required by the festival. We will not be held liable to power any additional equipment brought to the event or accommodate any power needs that were not provided in advance.
