About the event

Food Truck Friday is back for 2024! Happening on every third Friday from June to September, this fun event will be located at Neighbor's Pub and North Highland Park in Virginia Highland. 2024 dates: June 21, July 19, August 16, September 20. Each event will feature 5-6 food trucks, local vendors, and new this year- live music in North Highland Park!

About the application

About the Event:
Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor for Virginia Highland District's 2024 Food Truck Fridays! We will have four events on the third Friday of each month, June to September. These events will happen rain or shine. 
 
Scheduled Dates: 
June 21 (6-9pm)
July 19 (6-9pm)
August 16 (6-9pm)
September 20 (6-9pm)
 
Prices:
  • There is a $25 non-refundable application fee
  • All savory trucks (non dessert) booth fees are $250
  • All dessert trucks (ice cream, cookies, cakes, candied nuts) booth fees are $125
  • The card on file will be charged the booking fee upon acceptance to the event
  • All application/vendor charges will have a 3% processing fee
 
Please note that not all of your selected dates are a guaranteed spot. Since our footprint is limited we want all of our applicants to have an opportunity to be a vendor at least once throughout the summer. You will only be charged the booking fee for your approved date(s). The booking fee is non-refundable.
 
In the event that the event is officially canceled by VHDA staff prior to 6:30pm due to unsafe conditions, 50% of the booking fee will be refunded and you will be added to our waitlist for other FTF events in the 2024 season. 
 
If circumstances change and you are unable to participate, your vendor fee may be refunded if the cancellation is confirmed by email at least 2 weeks prior to the event date. Cancellations 48 hours or less will not be considered. 
 
Applicants will be notified by May 1 of their application status.

Terms & Conditions

  • Vendors must be able to provide proof of insurance and a current food truck selling license (must be attached to application). After approval, a COI listing VHDA will be required, a minimum of 1 month prior to the event.
  • Food truck and POS is completely set up and ready to sell by 5:45 PM at Neighbor’s Pub parking lot, located at 752 N Highland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306, at the corner of North Highland and St. Charles.
  • You will supply your own power source whether it's through your food truck or generator.
  • Menu board will be visible and easy to read; feel free to serve an abbreviated menu if that speeds up service. 
  • You will be able to provide enough food and beverages for the entire duration of the event and will be actively participating until the event ends at 9:00 pm.
  • We will be looking for vendors with a faster quick turnaround time to keep lines short. 
  • Provide a quality food product and a food truck for Virginia Highland Food Truck Friday Nights that is staffed by clean, professional and courteous personnel.
  • Follow food safety protocols including using gloves to avoid direct hand contact with food items.
  • Breakdown and removal of food truck must be completed immediately after event.
  • Vendor will remove all trash in immediate food area during set up and breakdown. Trash receptacles in food area cannot be used for discarding food, grease or other waste.
  • All appropriate Fire Extinguisher equipment must be on site at your booth the entire time period of event.
