About the event

Join the City of Elk Grove and the Diversity and Inclusion Commission as you learn about other cultures through music, art, food, entertainment and much more at the 13th annual Elk Grove Multicultural Festival, Presented By Kaiser Permanente. Enjoy two stages of musical and dance entertainment, local artistry on display, cultural displays and booths, a kids craft area and much more. Free admission and parking. Celebrate our diversity and travel the world without leaving Elk Grove!

About the application

To keep the festival focused on non-profits and other cultural educational partners the following categories and eligibility requirements are listed below. Please carefully review and select the appropriate category in which your organization or business falls into. You must ask for enough space to fully accommodate your display. Electricity will not be provided, no generators are allowed.  All booth spaces are outdoors with limited shade coverage.
 
If you are a for-profit business that does not fall under the categories below, you would need to come in as a Sponsor and with that comes marketing benefits in addition to booth space.  Find out more: https://www.elkgrovecity.org/events/partner-city-elk-grove-events 
 
Festival Booth Categories:
  • Cultural Education Booth: Non-profit organizations that promote awareness and education of the lifestyles, customs, or practices of one or more cultural group.
  • Faith-Based Education: Non-profit organizations that promote awareness or services available from a faith-based organization
  • Community Service: Non-profit organizations providing community services and/or programs within the City of Elk Grove.
  • Health and Wellness: Non-profit organizations providing health related services, information, and/or educational material
  • Government Agencies, Officials, Schools and Universities: Government agencies, government officials, and public and private schools or universities identifying services available from these entities or officials. Booths that support or oppose the approval or rejection of a ballot measure, or the election or defeat of a candidate, are not permitted.
  • Craft Vendor: This category is limited to individuals or businesses that sell culturally relevant products.
  • Kids Activity Vendor: This category is limited to individuals that provide face painting, balloon twisting, or similar entertainment services for kids.

Prices

Cultural or Faith-Based Education Booth Spaces $0 Non-refundable Non-profit organizations that promote awareness and education of the lifestyles, customs, or practices of one or more cultural or faith-based group.
Community Service or Health and Wellness $70 Non-refundable Non-profit organizations providing community services and/or programs within the City of Elk Grove or non-profit organizations providing health related services, information, and/or educational materials.
GOV/Official/School $70 Non-refundable Government agencies, government officials, and public and private schools or universities identifying services available from these entities or officials. Booths that support or oppose the approval or rejection of a ballot measure, or the election or defeat of a candidate, are not permitted. If you are unable to pay by credit card and use this online submission form please contact event organizer for payment by check.
Merchandise Vendor $70 Non-refundable This category is limited to individuals or businesses that would like to sell culturally relevant products or merchandise. Photos of products may be requested.
Kids Activity $70 Non-refundable This category is limited to businesses that provide face painting, balloon twisting, or similar entertainment services for FREE to kids.
