Celebrate the Unusual! The Mystic Arts Faire was born from the needs of unique and alternative local artists of South Central Ky. A semi yearly Art Market made to showcase and share talent with the community. This market creates a safe and inclusive space for everyone to participate and learn something new. Our goal is to bring people together of all different cultures and beliefs to celebrate their uniqueness through art.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers who share our passion for the arts and are eager to contribute to the success of this enchanting event. As a volunteer, you'll have the unique opportunity to engage with artists, vendors, and art lovers, helping to create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Your role will be integral in fostering a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere, and you'll gain invaluable experience in event management and community engagement.
 
Volunteer Roles Include:
  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Assist in setting up the venue, arranging booths, and dismantling structures post-event.
  • Artist & Vendor Support: Provide assistance to artists and vendors, ensuring they have everything they need for a successful market day. 
  • Guest Services: Welcome visitors, provide information about the market and its participants, and assist with navigation.
  • -Activity Coordination: Help in managing art workshops, interactive sessions, or children’s activities.
  • General Assistance: Be on hand to address various needs that may arise, ensuring the event runs smoothly.
 
We Are Looking For Volunteers Who Are:
  •  Passionate about art and community events.
  • Reliable, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. 
  • Able to commit to a set number of hours before, during, or after the event.
  • Eager to work in a team environment and contribute positively. - At least 15 years of age or older.

 2. *Conduct and Professionalism*: As a volunteer, you represent The Mystic Arts Faire and are expected to act professionally. This includes being courteous, respectful, and helpful to all attendees, artists, vendors, and fellow volunteers.
 
 3. *Training and Orientation*: Prior to the event, you may be required to attend a training session or orientation to familiarize yourself with the event layout, volunteer duties, and emergency procedures.
 
4. *Age Requirement*: All volunteers must be at least 15 years of age, unless otherwise stated or permission is granted under specific circumstances.
 
5. *Dress Code*: Volunteers are required to wear appropriate attire, which may include a volunteer t-shirt provided by the event (if applicable), along with comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.
 
6. *Safety and Liability*: The safety of our volunteers is a priority. You agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided. The event organizers are not liable for personal injuries or loss of personal belongings during your volunteer shift.
 
7. *Photography and Media*: By volunteering, you agree to be photographed or recorded during the event, and you grant permission for these images or videos to be used for promotional purposes by The Mystic Arts Faire.
 
8. *Confidentiality*: Any confidential or proprietary information you are exposed to during your volunteering must be kept confidential and not disclosed to any third party.
 
9. *Cancellation Policy*: The event organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the event or specific roles due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, volunteers will be notified as soon as possible.
 
10. *Acknowledgment*: You acknowledge that volunteering does not constitute an employment relationship, and you are volunteering your time and services without expectation of monetary compensation.
