2024 Mardi Gras Participation Fees
  • For Profit/Political - $400
  • Car Clubs - $400 (max 10 cars - drivers need to be prepared to show license, up-to-date registration and proof of insurance)
  • Nonprofit - $250 (Proof of current non-profit status required)
  • School - $150 (Proof of documentation required)

General Info
  • Mardi Gras Oak Cliff Parade is Sunday, February 11, 2024.
    • Line up begins at 11 a.m.
    • The parade begins at 1 p.m.
    • The parade takes place on West Davis Street in Oak Cliff and ends at the intersection of Davis at N Bishop. (route subject to change)
  • The Parade Load-in will happen at Rosemont Lower School Parking lot this year. 

Terms & Conditions

THIS IS A FAMILY-FRIENDLY PARADE. No nudity, obscenities, or lewdness will be allowed.
 
Requirements
  • Participants are required to have a minimum of 5 gross of beads per entry. (Trust us- this isn't enough! This is the bare minimum!) Beads can be ordered through us, wholesale companies online or be purchased in bulk at ABC Party on West Davis Street.
  • Participants may not hand out candy, paper, literature, fliers, push cards, or anything that easily becomes litter.
  • Dallas open container laws are in effect, both for participants and spectators.
  • Dallas traffic laws do apply. All motorized vehicles and floats must show proof of insurance and a valid drivers license at line up.
  • Engine revving is not permitted.
  • No 18-wheelers.
  • All float riders must have a safety belt attaching them to the vehicle.
Applications
  • Applications are reviewed and responded to within 2 business days
  • Incomplete applications will be waitlisted until further information is provided
  • Payments for participation are only taken upon application approval.
Cancellation Policy - your fees go to help ensure the parade is safe and secure.
 
  • within 7 days results in a 100% loss of participation fees
  • within 14 days results in a 50% loss of participation fees
  • within 30 days results in a 25% loss of participation fees
  • Outside 30 days a full refund will be provided

Non Profit $250 Non-refundable Reserved for registered non-profits/501c3. Proof of current non-profit status required
School $150 Non-refundable This is reserved for a registered place of education, private or public. Proof of documentation required
Car Clubs $400 Non-refundable Max 10 cars per club - please upload all drivers licenses and proof of insurance.
Priority Parade Placement (Spots 1-10) $125 Non-refundable You will placed in one of the top 10 spots
Priority Parade Placement (Spots 11-20) $100 Non-refundable You will placed in one of the top 11-20 spots
