About the event

Cities come alive at night, especially one home to a vibrant international community such as Greater Atlanta with a population of 5.6 million people representing over 75 countries (per the Metro Atlanta Chamber). We believe it’s time Atlanta had its own night market to showcase the foods, crafts, talents, customs, and people making Atlanta’s international community one of the greatest in the world. Inspired by vibrant outdoor markets popular throughout Europe and Asia, night markets are social outdoor events where food, retail, and educational vendors offer a variety of fresh, local street foods, arts & crafts, and other culturally-relevant and family-friendly fare. These roving festivals would highlight unique finds, foods, wares, and entertainment that could be found nowhere else during the day. Now you can experience this in Atlanta at the Atlanta International Night Market! AINM is so much more than just an event, it’s an extraordinary experience celebrating the community, culture, and creativity of Atlanta. With the authentic variety of sites and sounds, this event has something for everyone to enjoy. Join us in this exciting, 2-day celebration of diversity, community, culture, and creativity at the Atlanta International Night Market and TASTE THE WORLD! About the application

Please read all information carefully and follow all instructions when filling out and submitting the application. Do not leave any area blank or assume we already have your information.
 
As part of our mission to share and elevate international cultures, AINM is excited to bring back our International Village in 2024! The International Village is a fun, interactive educational area open to nonprofits for no fee. Approved nonprofits will receive a 15x15' space in the International Village section of the event, and are expected to offer 3 hands-on learning experiences, such as a 3-5 or 5-10 minute game, cultural craft, holiday tradition, etc. 
 
Participants are welcome to sell goods or commercially packaged foods as well other fundraising activities.  All booth materials must be supplied and set up by the nonprofit. Please remember that all political activities and speech are strictly prohibited.
 
A panel of judges will score International Village booths on the following criteria and award the top three nonprofits with money prizes up to $1,000: 1) Booth Display/Decorations, 2) Activities/Engagement, 3) Cultural Education.
 
Additionally, nonprofit organizations fully participating in the International Village may request reimbursements for booth activity supplies of up to $200. Receipts must be emailed to info@atlnightmarket.org up to 14 days post-event.
 
As event space is limited, applications will be considered based on previous experience, proposed activities, and availability. We strongly encourage interested nonprofits to send completed applications quickly as there are only 10 International Village spaces. We look forward to reviewing your application!

Process:

3) You will receive an approval or regrets email to the address provided in your application by (TBD).
4) You will be sent the 2024 Vendor Handbook and guidelines for vending, as well as information on vendor meetings.

Terms & Conditions

1) INSURANCE: All vendors MUST have insurance. If you do not carry insurance you can purchase a policy through our group rate of ~$50 or provide your own (link to be provided as needed). All provided COIs must have a minimum limit of $2 million aggregate, and ****list the following 2 additional insureds**** (you will need to request that your insurance provider issue a specific COI for our event, do not simply send us your insurance details):
 
a) City of Suwanee 330 Town Center Ave, Suwanee, GA 30024
b) Atlanta International Night Market, Inc - 1568 Indian Trail Rd. #106, Norcross, GA 30093
 
A link will be sent to all approved applicants with purchase link.
 
2) BOOTH: International Village vendors will receive a 15x15' space to set up as desired. Electricity will be available, but extension cords, lights, and tables are NOT provided and must be supplied by the vendor. If vendors would like to bring a tent, 40lb. weights for each tent leg must be included as city safety requirements.
 
3) VENDOR TRAINING: Each vendor must attend one in-person or Zoom training to learn about and adhere to AINM's vendor expectations. Schedule TBD, but you will receive emails to RSVP once they are announced.
 
4) APPROVAL PROCESS: Acceptance will be based on event experience, proposed activities, and booth availability.
 
5) BOOTH PLACEMENT: BOOTH PLACEMENT IS DECIDED ON A FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVE BASIS. Vendor preferences will be taken into consideration, but the final decision for placement is by the Event Planning Committee.
 
6) LOAD-IN: Detailed instructions for Load-In will be provided in the Vendor Handbook.
 
7) WEATHER: The event is rain-or-shine. It is the responsibility of each vendor to bring weather-proofing gear and supplies as needed, such as tarps. The event may shut down temporarily in the event of severe and dangerous weather conditions, such as hurricanes or tornados, etc, and will re-open when conditions are deemed safe again.
 
8) CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: There is no fee for nonprofits to participate, but last-minute cancellations will affect future participation in the event. Please ensure your availability and staff prior to committing.
 
9) LIABILITY: All vendors must sign and submit a Hold Harmless waiver (see downloadable forms) for AINM.
