About the event

The Fuquay-Varina Artist Village will offer handmade, unique items created by local artists at the Town of Fuquay-Varina Tree Lighting event. Featuring both established and new-to-the market crafters and artisans. The in-person event will be on Thursday Nov. 30th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm in Downtown Fuquay. Items will be available online Nov. 29 - Dec. 1.

About the application

Thank you for your interest in the Nov. 30, 2023 Artist Village. This event will be offered in person and online. The in-person part of this event will be during the Town of Fuquay-Varina Tree Lighting event on Main St. and Raleigh St. This event will include holiday music, artist village, magical lights at Fuquay Mineral Spring Park, a visit from Ol' St. Nick, and the Town Tree lighting.
 
Upon approval of your application please pay your booth fee ($30) and begin setting up your virtual market. In-person event details including set-up time will be sent out by email at the beginning the week of Nov. 20th. The virtual market is not required but recommended.
 
Vendors are expected to arrive at the scheduled time for drop off and unloading and be set up by 6:00pm for the start of the event. Vendors need to remain set up until the event concludes at 9:00pm. Late arrival and early clean-up may affect future acceptance. 
 
If you have any questions or need assistance please give us a call at the Arts Center at 919-567-3920. There will be a link to the virtual event on our website that you can share with anyone you would like to. We will also promote through our social media and email newsletter.

Terms & Conditions

The Arts Center reserves the right to remove any products deemed inappropriate or outside of the scope of the event parameters.
 
All work must be handmade and the original design of the exhibitor. No exceptions. 
 
Beverages, including bottled water, and food products cannot be sold or given away from the vendor's space. 
 
Each booth space will be 10'x10'.
 
Vendors provide their own tables, chairs, display units, lighting, and tent canopy.
 
Raffles, drawings, and contests must be pre-approved by the Arts Center. 
 
It is required that work displayed or exhibited at the Artist Village is consistent with the application and images submitted by the Artist.
 
Selection is by jury only. The decisions of the jury are final. 
 
Vendors can share a booth space with another vendor. Both vendors must apply individually and indicate in the special requests section the vendor they would like to share a space with. Only one fee will be charged for the space. 
 
We do not accept resale items including products made from kits.
 
All vendors must be local to North Carolina. 
 
Food vendors are not accepted for this event.
