About the application

A whimsical, Light Up Oxford night is planned for the Annual Lighting of the Greens and Christmas Parade. This event is sponsored by the City of Oxford and its stakeholders. The parade is scheduled to take place Friday, December 8, 2023, in the rain, snow, or shine, so please plan accordingly.
 
If you are interested in participating as an applicant please follow all instructions and fill out the application. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been submitted THIS DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN YOU'VE BEEN ACCEPTED. Once your application is accepted you will be contacted by event staff. 
 
PLEASE READ: When you submit your application, you will not be charged until your application is approved. All funds collected go towards making the event possible, so please understand refunds are not possible. There is a percentage fee when submitting payment. 
 
 ALL ENTRIES MUST DECORATE THEIR VEHICLE FOR THE OCCASION.

About the event

The City of Oxford and DOEDC are excited to invite you all to the 2023 Lighting of the Greens and Christmas Parade! Beginning at 4:00 pm bring out the family for some Christmas fun and stay for the Christmas Parade beginning at 7:00 pm! Stay tuned for more information! Event Schedule: 4:00 Pm - Festivities begin on Main Street 6:45 PM - Lighting of the Greens 7:00 PM - Parade Begins

Terms & Conditions

Application Fee: Payment is due at the time of application submittal, however, you will not be charged until your application is approved.  Fee percentage: There is a fee added to all online payments.  Refund Policy: The Christmas Parade is a non-profit event, which means funds collected are used to help make the event happen. We are not able to give refunds after November 1, 2023.
